Purchased this TV after returning a Vizio P series because of the long delay of HDR10 firmware update and the lack of Dolby Vision material out. The 4k up converging on this TV is so much better and you do not see the difference with the full LED back light without the displays side by side. . The tv was easy to set up and remote is simple to use. After weeks of research of 55 inch displays in this price range this was the smart purchase.

After much back and forth, we decided on this one for the bedroom sitting area. Picture is really nice and the new Smart TV is very user friendly.

This tv has such a beautiful picture! I bought an LG, the this Samsung, and there is no comparison! This tv is sleek and sexy in every way.

I did a lot of online research before buying a 4K HDR TV. Based on reviews and price I chose the KS8000. The smart remote is amazing as I can use it with my PS4 for the PS Vue and can also use it with my FireTV and Vizio Soundbar. The ability to switch inputs and to antenna tv is very easy and convenient. The picture on the tv is amazing and is very adjustable to match your viewing preferences. I would recommend this TV to anyone.

Does everything i hoped it would. Love the HDR feature. Picture is solid. Sound is better than I thought it would be.

My son has a few flat screen Samsung TV's and I have been impressed with the clarity and colors so when we recently moved it made sense to review online the different series in the 55" size and decided on the 8000 series from Samsung. The service at Best Buy, in a few different stores as we looked, was exceptional and it was a pleasant surprise how well informed the salespeople were. Watching the Patriots win the divisional championship was exciting but the impact of the action and close up details from the Samsung TV made the day!

Unbelievable clarity, especially when paired with Samsung 4K BluRay player. Blacks are truly black and detail in dark scenes is incredible.

This is my second SUHD Samsung television. Both fantastic picture and easy to understand remotes.

The 4K picture is absolutely gorgeous. The blacks are true black. Bright picture even in daylight.

We had a Samsung 42" for several years. It behaved admirably, needing only one service call. The new TV is the UHD with all the bells and whistles. And it is also very nice, The set up was fairly easy, and I did not need the Geek Squad set up people. We did need to upgrade the cable box from WOW to handle the HDMI cable but ran fine with a direct connect (no box) until the upgrade arrived. BB associates were very nice, knew their business and even loaded the packages into my car. Great service, great product, and good price.

Awesome picture! Very easy to set up. It took a little bit of experimenting to get to the awesome picture quality but easy to do. Love it!

I was really looking forward to having the 4K picture quality, but I've quickly realized that until there are true 4K signals available, it's kind of a waste of money. I love the picture quality of blu-ray movies, and some of the HD channels through DirecTV are pretty nice, but the tv really enhances the flaws of older DVDs and non-HD signals to the point that there are a lot of channels I simply won't watch anymore because the image is so poor. It took a long time to adjust the picture to where I liked it - and to their credit, Samsung has quite a few options in that regards. The tv itself is great, but in hindsight I probably should have waited another year or two for the broadcast signals to be able to catch up with the tv's capabilities.

I bought this tv as an upgrade to my 50" Samsung. The picture is amazing! It is very easy to navigate the menu and very easy to set up.

I purchased this TV on early Black Friday 2016. Why wait in line if the price is the same as door buster? lol. The price was pretty good, was going for the 60", but the 55" was enough. Had this delivery to my house since my car can't take it. Delivery service was fast too. TV is great. Great picture, great sound. Smart TV is cool. Need more apps to make it more convenient. My wife use DramaFever app A LOT, sometimes the app freeze, not sure because of the TV or the app it self. Just FYI. Overall Great TV!

This TV delivers a great picture... and I was very pleased with the easy set up. Outstanding value and I would recommend this TV highly.

Love the tv. Great value for its price. Live sports could look a little sharper, but movies look terrific. Even streaming looks stellar. Smart features really easy to use. Youtube or Netflix one click away.

Very happy with the purchase of this TV. The picture is great. Coming from a 7 year old LED TV, very happy with the contrast. I never thought I would be a fan of smart TVs, but the interface on this TV is very good. This has limited I need for the Roku or Chromecast players. The Smart Hub makes it much easier to connect all your devices. I no longer run everything through my receiver and I just use the TV as a monitor because it is so easy to use everything through the TV interface and just send audio to receiver

TV is absolutely gorgeous. Unlocking the HDR ability of my Xbox One is my favorite part of the TV and for the price you cannot beat it.

The TV is great. Despite some of the reviews, it is quite easy to set up and adjust. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the remote. Simple is good, and the remote has eliminated most of the extraneous buttons, but it is too small and hard to use because of it. In addition, you can't see the on/off button in a dim light (it is pale red on black). To solve this, I pasted a bright white dot over the button. Although the other buttons are easier to see then the red power button, they are still not easy to use and subject to the everything is too small and not well designed. The last issue is that the menu screen stays on too long when you turn on the TV or go to the home page.... Yes, you can press a button to exit, but....

Went shopping for a mid level 4k TV at Best Buy and was shown this model and a Sony. The Best Buy associate was really trying to push the Sony on me, but after going home and doing my own research and reading multiple reviews online it had seemed this was the better choice. After making my purchase I got it delivered for free, although, it probably would have fit it my car just fine. TV was fairly simple to set up and the picture is amazing! Beautiful colors, the Smart interface is simple to use. Highly recommend this TV.
