Awesome tv. Great picture. I was able to do price match and got the tv at a great price.

After many years of good service I decided to retire my old Samsung DLP TV. After hours of research, including other brands, it was easily decided to purchase another Samsung. Self installation and setup was easy and I am 100% satisfied. The sharp and clear colorful picture image is anmazing.

This 55" Samsung looked impressive in the store and my wife and I decided to purchase it even though we were at Best Buy to look at another brand. I checked reviews online in the store and made the purchase. Once home we were delighted in the ease of set up and the attractive look of the TV even when not on. The picture was bright, clear, and lifelike. The built in online apps were an added surprise and the Samsung on screen set up instructions had us on WiFi within minutes and connected to Netflix,hulu, and Amazon. On the dynamic picture setting you would think you were looking a real life scenes and not movies. The remote is slim and easy to learn. Best TV We have owned and that says a lot when you are a 55 year old gamer that has always tried to have the best in entertainment devices.

Purchased this tv to replace my 7 year old sharp aquos that died on me. Excellent picture, plenty of options to tweak picture quality and surprisingly good audio (don't use it, have a 2.1 tower setup; but still good audio coming from a tv). Would highly recommend for $1000 price tag.

I have been shopping around for a television,and finally decided on the samsung un55ks8000. I have had it for a month and I am so happy that I decided to buy it. The picture is great and even the sound without a sound bar is great. Buy it if you can and Best Buy matched a lower price

I had high standards and the tv hasnt failed!! It is on par with all the other high end tv's but the price is a bit lower. Clarity is a dream and it has all the newest smart tv options. Also, the remote programs itself to your other devices (Cable, PS4, Kodi Box). How cool is that!!

we purchased this to replace a old 32 in LCD and watch Thor on new tv that night. My wife turned to me and ask if was same movie as there was so much more depth to the picture and felt like a new movie to her. ( Sh complained the entire time I set TV up we didn't need a big TV lol)

I purchased this TV as a gift to myself for Christmas. I was super excited when I got it home and set it up. Picture quality was amazing. The only downfall is that the one connect box is not supported buy TiVo so that causeday HDMI connection. problems causing me to have to exchange this TV for another. Outside of that, excellent purchase, would do it again if I had another cable provider to choose from.

I purchased this TV around Thanksgiving. It looked great in the store but when I got it setup at home and dialed in the settings all I can say is WOW! Movies, TV shows, and gaming are all amazing. A good portion of the time I've spent with it has been gaming. I have an Xbox One S and a PS4 hooked up to it. I plan on switching out my PS4 with a Pro but even the standard PS4 looks great on it at 1080p. The Xbox One S is running at 4K and looks really good. I know it's not native 4K but it upscales nicely. HDR looks beautiful on both systems on the games that support it. I also tested Netflix in 4K and it doesn't fail there either. The picture is beautifully sharp and crisp. As for watching TV we have a TiVo box hooked up and it does the job no problem. In short this TV delivers on all levels. I did quite a bit of research on TV's in this price range (I got it on sale for $999) and as quite a few of them look really nice, the reviews and seeing it in person really sold me.

Pulled it out of the box, hooked it up and the set up was very easy. Picture is great.

I bought this TV to replace a 6 year old Samsung series 8. I loved my previous TV until my 3 year old busted it. This newer model is fantastic. I would recommend it to anybody. It is a good value at any price, but at $1000 it was a super deal. You won't be disappointed with this TV.

I did a lot of research before picking up this set. Great colors and upscaling with OTA content. Picture from regular Netflix and Hulu looks amazing and of course, 4K content is perfect. I'm very happy with this purchase, just wish the space I had for this allowed for the 65" model!

Was an excellent choice for a new tv. We have always bought Samsung tv's because of the great pictures they have. This was even an open box tv, and no problems whatsoever. But it was missing the power cord, but Best Buy supplied me with a new generic one for free. Works great !!!

There's nothing left to say that has already been said about this TV - it is stunning. For the price that I bought it for, this was an incredible deal. 4K videos are stunning, tv interface is very responsive and there are a lot of great setting options. Definitely recommend buying!

Good quality picture for the price. This Samsung TV was easy to set up and has more than enough features to compete with more expensive TVs in its class. the picture quality is excellent for normal everyday TV programing. love the commercial volume drop and the auto back lighting. Then watching high quality movie media content is a snap with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. streams perfectly no issue's to far.

It's amazing to see the difference when you have TV that can display the number of colors visible with this tv. It's sort of impossible to describe the difference 4k makes in resolution and action... you just have to see it.

I will preface by saying this TV was purchased without much prior research. Aesthetically it hit all the major check boxes - slim design, minimal bezel (practically 0 when viewed from the front), stunning picture. An additional bonus was the One Connect system that minimizes the cords dangling from the back of the TV. Unfortunately the design was a little too aggressive and/or poorly executed. The back of the TV failed to stay secured to the frame on both sets that were delivered. On the first, the back panel began separating from the frame after just 3 days of use - there was a 1/8" gap between the back panel and the frame, enough that light was visible through. The second set was worse - the entire right side of the back panel was not secured and had a lot of give. While it may not impact the functionality of the TV, the overall construction should be more solid on a $1300 item. Quick research online showed that this was a known issue with the set with threads on Samsung's support site and YouTube. Ultimately I returned the 8000 for the 9000, which featured a slightly different design and more solid construction.

The ks8000 is one awesome tv with a beautiful picture no matter what type screen resolution 4k,1080p,1080i, 480p,480i you are watching!! Samsung did their homework on this set!!

I purchased this TV in Panama City Florida, the customer service was great and very knowledgeable. The TV has amazing picture and sound. I also purchased a sound bar with it which makes everything that much better. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

I can't believe the clarity of the picture! It is awesome and everyone that watches it is impressed. I love the feature that you can access Netflix, Amazon and other services with a touch of the finger. I am so happy with this purchase from Best Buy! Mary Plaisance
