I️ love Samsung especially this 4K TV I️ think it’s one of the best product I️ have ever bought. Crisp picture,easy to use.

After reviewing tvs for days I finally settled on the Samsung KS8000. Black levels were important to me and this tv preformed. I always have been a Sony guy but this tv had a better picture. One problem I did have was the legs were too far apart for our tv stand. I purchased an aftermarket tabletop tv stand and that solved the problem.

This is my first Samsung TV, and my first UHD TV. I don't have access to any UHD content yet, but I absolutely love the picture quality that I am getting. I didn't want to spend too much money, but wanted get HDR, so went with the 8000 series. I am very happy with the product. Great picture. Fun remote. Nice, sleek design too - super thin!

Pros: * Upscaling - great. * Viewing angle - may not be as good as peers, but I cannot tell. Kooks good to me. *Input lag in game mode is low. Great for gaming * bright and low reflections. Nice for when the sun comes in. * Smart View - very easy to screencast from laptop, tablets and phone. * easy to add wireless keyboard to make Internet browsing easier. * Remote - Npnstandard, and took some getting used to but i like it. It has voice commands BUT it only seems to work when internet is up AND ther is NO list as to what commands are available, just start guessing. Cons: * Motion blur - had to make some adjustments to settings to correct, but great now. * WiFi reception - weak. My AP is on another floor but it worked for ally other devices. Had to relocate it to get good signal reception * USB - only 2.0. Really? * Adds in with the apps? Really? * Inputs - warning they are almost all located on a separate box, but there are NO composite/analog inputs. So, maybe not perfect, but all in all, a this is the best TV out there for the money, even though about a year old now.

My sister got herself this tv for Christmas and I was blown away by it, so I waited for sales and then got one for myself. (After reading every online review I could find.) Set looks very sleek, picture is so sharp you even watch the commercials at first, and the Samsung one connect box is much easier to hook peripherals up to than my older tv (with its cords and dongles hanging out). I had a couple of hiccups adjusting the settings but called Samsung help line and they were very responsive (even there on a weekend). It turns out the Geek Squad guys had set my system of external receivers and speakers up incorrectly. Don't waste your $$$ on GS. I decided to get a soundbar and Samsung 4K Blu-ray player to replace my older stuff and it's all fantastic. Now I need to get a universal remote to consolidate. Would highly recommend Samsung.

Great TV! Would easily warrant Five Star rating if not for confusion surrounding ECO settings and auto dimming feature. It took multiple searches, and much patience to find answer for dimming problem, and almost gave up and returned this TV. Set up is amazingly easy, and smart remote is truly magical. Picture quality is breathtaking using standard settings. So glad I chose no to return this TV for different brand.

I've bought 2 Sony flatscreens and 8 Samsung flatscreen TV's from plasma all the way to current model 4K ultra from Bestbuy over the years. I have to say if your a hardcore gamer and movie watcher like I am and own current gen consoles XB1, PS4, PS4pro this 4K ultra tv is for you. From my experience with the Samsung brand they have the best vibrant eye poping colors and easy setup for gaming. I struggled a lil bit getting my wall mount to work from my older model Samsung to my new one. But once that was figured out setting up up the tv was a breeze. This model has a one connect box where the units guts ( memory prossesor etc..) are stored. It's kind of pest but I used Velcro to stick it behind my wall mount. But other than that. I had it up n running in minutes playing games. My opinion and with my experience and expectations of Samsung brand Hands down this 4k Ultra tv has won me over has a hardcore gamer and movie watcher and it's graphically impressive.

I wanted it in a 65 in but settled for a 55 in. I already owned a vizio m series 4k tv but this Samsung made me realize there is a clear diffrence in tv’s. I absolutely cannot wait until the Xbox one x comes out next month to see this tv in full action 4k and hdr. Great gaming tv. Love to watch movies on it. Wish there were more 4k sources other than Netflix and amazon prime. Highly recommend this tv.

I did a lot of research and spent over what I wanted to because of what I read about this TV. I was not dissatisfied. The picture, color, blacks, menus and smart TV options are amazing. HDR gaming on the Xbox One S looks unreal, and 4K blue ray and netflix options look great.

Love Samsung, this is my 3RD. Samsung TV. Ultra thin bezel, beautiful picture, no matter what you're watching, sports, movie, talk show etc.... Easy to use remote (small size). Set-up and setting adjustments are easy to do. Both my son and I bought this TV about 14 days apart.

Fantastic picture quality and easy setup. Good looking style and design. Only issue is that your settings for HDR do not save while in game mode, so playing on PS4 or Xbox with hdr content forces you to change brightness settings back and forth depending on the game title

I use the tv mainly for gaming. The 2160p with HDR makes all the difference. It looks so much better than my other 2160p the that doesn't have HDR

The Samsung 55 inch television is an excellent product. We went in looking to buy a Sony but after comparing the two types we switched to the Samsung. Both are quality products but we liked the availability of the apps on the Samsung more than those on the Sony. The picture is very crisp and gives us exactly what we were looking for which was a new model television (2016) and not break the bank. Our sales person was outstanding and didn't try to force a more expensive model down our throats. That made the experience even more enjoyable.

Purchased this as my retirement TV gift to myself. Looked great straight on but lost so much color just slightly viewing from an angle. I mean not just a little but to the extreme. Standing in our open concept kitchen viewing the tv in the living room was awful. My wife who could care less about a tv picture even said this tv looks terrible. Back to the store it went and bought the Sony 850D. Viewing angles are much improved with the IP panel but blacks and colors were not as deep and vivid as the Samsung HDR when viewing straight on. Off angle the Sony creams the Samsung. The picture processing of the Sony is superior but the Samsung streaming system is way better then the glitchy android on the Sony. So the question is do I keep the Sony and live with the lack of vivid color I did love on the Samsung or do I take the Sony back and go LG OLED.... the new Samsung OLED is too far out of my price range but I would have loved that TV. I will say the Samsung I had was the A panel which I believe is the Chinese panel. The F panel is the Samsung which I have researched has better off angle viewing. Only time and convincing my wife to spend more money will determine my Tv future. If your viewing is straight on get the Samsung. If not I would look a different direction. Best Buy is as usual great to work with. A+ to Best Buy

Simple setup, excellent picture with a bit of adjustment. Purchased at the same time with new 4K Blu-Ray player and I'm glad I did. I debated stepping up to an HDR TV and when used together I can see a big difference. The Samsung was priced well and the 55 inch set fit my medium sized living room perfectly. The set up of all devices can run through samsung's connection hub which is included and makes cable management and setup a breeze. I might upgrade to a sound bar down the road, but the speakers in the TV do the job just fine for now. The smart apps like Netflix, Amazon prime video, work fantastic and run in the background, so they switch over extremely quickly. I am thoroughly impressed with this TV so far.

I highly recommend this 4K TV to anyone looking for a 4K TV this Holiday Season. Samsung is the premiere brand of 4K TV's and this TV proves that. Even 1080P and 1080i look great on this TV. I love the built in Netflix app that can stream 4K content and 1080P content. Also, I love the other apps, feature of this TV. Its a great gaming TV as well. I play X Box One S on it which can upscale to 4K which means you can play 4K gaming on this TV. Gears of War 4 looks absolutely stunning on this TV. SAMSUNG OVER SONY HANDS DOWN WHEN IT COMES TO 4K TVs.

The Samsung KS8000 has a good picture for bright rooms and dark rooms. Accurate color and video processing. Smart home is fast and it has a simple remote and interface. Great for video games, low lag. The design is great, super thin and beautifull.

Bought this tv to pair with my Xbox One S and it doesn't disappoint. This is the best value on the market right now, as it offers HDR gaming and all the smart features. The picture is fantastic and was a huge step up from my 2007 Samsung LCD set.
