I have a Samsung Plasma that's 6 years old and still working great. Read up on reviews from many sites and know that Samsung is still one of the best including options and apps. You could get away with the KS8000 for $500 less, but I'm building my media room out and wanted one with the best sound available. Resolution and performance is great, give it some time in use and it gets even better. I left most of the settings in default. I see little to no flicker you see in action shots when you see when someone is walking. Upconvert to UHD is great, better than the movie theaters. Definately can't go wrong buying this UHD TV.

I ordered this tv before it was available in store and was glad I did! The quantum dot is AMAZING! Truly great picture and super easy setup. Very responsive and easy to navigate. Enjoy!

I just bought the Samsung 9000 serious only had it 3 days and it has already went out on me,screen turned black cut in and out kept turning on and off but no picture just on and off with sound as well. Very disappointed considering I just paid 2,000 for a tv and it has already went out in 3 days. I imagine it is because the tv is so thin or it could have got Mis handled when it was on the truck from the manufacturer. However this tv is amazing when it works the picture is unlike any I've seen almost like you are actually there. Brightness is amazing, the fast motion when watching sports is also phenomenal. Just hate that I'm having to return the tv after 3 days. The sound quality could be better on it as well.

First off let me say that I love Samsung appliances and TVs. They have really outdone themselves with this prodcut. The 9 series from this year have so many percs to match the amazing display, it is much more than expected. The upscaling on the tv is great, definitely a lot smoother than I've seen other 4K models do. Watching actual 4K content on the tv will blow you away. The HDR really enhances everything and gives much detail.

Best picture I have ever seen. Easy to use remote. Nothing bad to say at all.

I am so satisfied with this TV that I can't wait to get home from work and just watch it. From sports to movies or what ever you want to watch it is just absolutely a magnificent TV.

TV was very easy to set up, has the most fabulous picture quality, and the sound is divine. It was very pricey because it had just been released a week ago (2016 model) and had all of the bell's and whistles. After viewing it in my home with Cox Cable, I believe that it was an excellent purchase.

I love this tv upscaling to 4k and watching 4k blu ray movies on this tv is amazing! Picture contrast and streaming on the tv is fun and easy. Well worth the investment.

Exchanged this TV for Sony and loving it. Very nice Picture quality.

Best TV you can get. Samsung has beautiful quality

Bought the TV and was very disappointed to find out that there is no HDMI input on the actual TV. Samsung now uses the One Connect port. This comes as a surprise because specs list this TV as having 4 HDMI inputs. The One Connect does have 4, but it's a separate device. Lack of a hard HDMI input on the television causes obvious issues -especially if you have HDMI installed at TV level behind the wall. So much for that electrician...The picture quality is very nice, as expected, but no HDMI on the TV? Awful. I feel misled from the specs listed on BestBuys website.

What can I say, it's Samsung's flagship SUHDTV and it rocks for 4k HDR content and makes everything else look better as well.

I've had this TV for just over two years. About 6 months ago, the TV started going black while sound was still playing. This started happening after I received an HDPC error from my Apple TV 4k. I have replaced all the HDMI cables with current HDCP compliant cables, but still randomly get a black screen after watching TV for ~30min. This screams HDPC issue and happens on multiple devices using multiple cables. The only resolution seems to be unplugging everything for 10m. Sometimes I can watch after this, sometimes I can't. I will NEVER be buying another Samsung TV EVER. I got talked into this TV in the store, despite my hesitation from owning a previous Samsung TV with it's own issues.

I upgraded from my Samsung 4k 6300 series to the 9000 series as it looked beautiful in the store and the sales associate assured me it was the best picture quality samsung has to offer. While I am sure most of these TVs are great, the one I got simply is not. The LED backlight seems way too bright and the smooth motion is anything but smooth. Any type of movement is blurred and anytime the picture changes from a bright frame to a dark one, there is a lot of flickering, almost making the TV unwatchable. Geek squat informed me the TV might be faulty but could not otherwise explain what was wrong with my TV. I will be returning my TV shortly.

Extremely frustrating to setup . Bad Bestbuy support.
