This tv is absolutely amazing. The colors are superb, motion is excellent, and the HDR setting is phenomenal. I now know why samsung is the number one in consumer electronics. Best tvs out there by far.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase, TV was easy to set-up, picture is fantastic, as is the color, good speakers, great looking as well.

The picture quality and size makes game day outrageous. We can't wait to watch the game -- baseball, football and hockey on this tv. It is just like having front row center seats. Never enjoyed viewing spots on tv so much. And my grandchilden -- they are absolutely awed at watching their favorite children's programs on this tv. Initially had a problem with the remote, but Samsung/Best Buy immediately corrected this without a charge. Can't wait for the next sports game!

After doing about a months worth of reading reviews and looking at the other high-end tv I went for this samsung 9000 and could not be more happy with my choice. The set up was very easy to do and calibration was made simple with watching a few recommendations online. I like the feature of only one cord going into the back of the TV as it makes for a nice clean install when mounted. The picture quality is top notch as you would expect from this series of tv.

I upgraded from an old Samsung. The Smart TV functionality is great. We stream Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu right off the TV. The TV remembers what was last up and resumes playing I also love that when I turn on my PS4 the TV switches to the source for the console. The image n this screen in impeccable. The sound is the best I have ever heard from such a thin TV. The only slight downside is that dark scenes can be kind of muddled.

It's pricey but I've always been a fan of Samsung. The picture is perfect. The blacks are blacks and it's very bright. The colors are true. The edge bezels are very thin which makes it an attractive tv. The only complaint I have is the edge lighting. For the price Samsung could've made it full array. But I don't notice any flaws from it so I'm satisfied with the picture.

I had a older Sony 40 inch HD and thought I had a excellent picture but this Samsung 4K 9000 55 inch is beyond my greatest expectations. Great picture and very easy setup.I'm just starting to use 4K providers and WOW, hoping more producers join the 4K band wagon.

This TV quality is amazing! Price is more than you would pay for this size but the quality of the picture is on another level! Very cool modern design and sleek look is a very nice addition to my living room. If you want an ok picture pay less but if you want the best 4K picture than you just can't beat this TV!

This set is phenomenal The picture quality is almost startling at first, after watching my previous set for years, the dark blacks and bright whites took a while to adjust to. All new movies and especially 4k ultra are awesome as all reviews note, but watching an old classic movie is the real surprise.

Hands DOWN absolute best HDTV I have ever had! The picture is gorgeous much better richer vibrant colors than the previous UN8000 series. The picture is extremely sharp and crisp the tv has a very thin bezel and the other layer design is sleek stylish and elegant. I am more than HAPPY with my purchase.

I normally go with middle of the road products, but this time I decided to treat myself. It is worth it. I am not sure what part of the improvement is the HDR capability vs the 9000 series just being better. Regardless I don't care it is a great TV. It is simple to set up, with two annoying exceptions. First one of the mounting adapters had a bad thread on it. Fortunately I actually have a tap set that allowed me to clean the threads. It would have been annoying to not be able to mount the TV because of a bad shoulder bolt.. I did not try the included TV stand. Then everything was going smoothly until I set the input that our Tivo Premier was connected to as a cable box. The TV would not stop asking to try to program it so the TV's remote would control the cable box. The Tivo does not accept whatever the TV is trying to send it so it repeatedly fails. Eventually I set that input as a game console and no more problems. Otherwise the Chromecast Ultra works great, the BluRay player works great no issues. I highly recommend this TV.

This is my 6th experience with ownership of a Samsung TV. All have been good experiences. Before I purchased this 55", I researched several brands, and particularly the 4 K choices. By far this SUHD is nothing short of spectacular. Colors are true and dynamic. Best TV I've ever owned!!

Best purchase I've ever made. I recently had bought an 8 series and returned it to get the 9 series. The color quality is significantly better along with the 240 motion rate and a magnolia sound, it is definitely worth the bump up from the 8 series to the 9 series!

I definitely understand why this TV is a Magnolia TV cause it is SAWEEEETT !!! I exchanged my 55" KS8000 for this 55" KS9000 and I am AMAZED!!! the 8000 is great but KS9000 is Amazing I can definitely see the difference from MR240 to Supreme MR240 and from UHD Dimming to Supreme UHD Dimming. KS8000 is good budget option buit if you want the best bang for your buck then definitely step up to KS9000

This 55" Samsung 4K UHD TV came to replace my old 46" Samsung . It is a pleasure to watch movies and action sports. It is colorful , with bright images and vibrant. We enjoy every moment with it.

This is a phenomenal product. Traded up to this from an equivalently priced LG purchased a few years before - which I never really liked - and could not be happier. Amazing picture; great color; deep blacks. Would not hesitate to buy again.

I really enjoy this tv. The smart tv Computer is much faster compared to others. The picture is outstanding. Everything looks better on this tv. I enjoy it so much I am considering on buying a second one for another room.

The feature set, picture, and performance of the Samsung is excellent. I have two minor issues that I was/am able to workaround: 1. When using with the Verizon Fios VMS110 settop with "standby mode enabled," the Samsung remote has no way to "wake up the STB. On the Fios remote, you simply push the "menu" button, but with Samsung Smart Remote, nothing worked. I had to change settings of STB to never go into standby mode. Not very energy efficient, but OK. 2. Occasionally lose network access (more due to coverage in house than TV, I believe). TV does NOT seem to remember settings for previously connected networks. Requires re-entry of network and password. However, these are minor annoyances compared to the excellent overall performance of the TV.

This is a really nice tv. The picture is super sharp. The quality is really good, though the external inputs box can be finicky, but very rarely.

The input lag on the tv is low about 20ms or ,so it's great for gaming. The local dimming or Smart LED feature doesn't work well and causes blooming. The blacks aren't bad, but the contrast is definitely no where near an oled. For normal TV watching or movies you'll want to lower the backlight, as this TV gets very bright. For games and HDR content the backlight can be higher. Definitely lower the Motion options with Motion reduction and Judder Reduction around 3/4 for little to no Soap opera effect. HDR content overall looks good with extra pop. Depending on what your expectations are and the type of TV you're upgrading from you'll most likely have varying opinions on the TV. This TV isn't an OLED, but it's very versatile in that it handles different resolutions and sources well without lose of detail, so it's good for regular TV watching, Sports, etc and it's excellent for gaming with low input lag and response times. Movies, especially in 4k and HDR will look good, but blooming can occur. For $1500 this is a good TV if you have $500 more get a LG OLED.
