This TV was my first foray into the 4K arena. I skipped right over 1080p and have never owned a BluRay player so this thing is impressive! The color gamut and the production of black is super accurate compared to what I am used to. The brightness is fantastic and does an excellent job of auto adjusting to the appropriate levels based on the ambient lighting it senses. And the picture and color accuracy is the same no matter what angle you are viewing from, which is critical when you are entertaining a larger crowd. The sound on this unit is decent for what you would expect in a flat screen. I fully intend to connect a home theater to this unit, so for now the on board audio is sufficient at producing clear tones at a loud enough volume for my needs. The smart TV functions are suitable for a user who is interested in streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. Other apps are limited so I have my 4th generation Apple TV to round out the streaming offerings. My only gripe with this TV is that no matter how hard I try, I cannot get it to register any OTA channels below the 8 range, which is most of the local channels that I am interested in receiving. I may try a new receiver to see if that is the problem. All in all, after two months with this TV I am incredibly happy! Oh, and it's a great looking set even when off!

After extensive research of different brands and a multitude of features, I decided that this 4K UHD TV would LIKELY satisfy my requirements the best. I am in my 70's, so my vision is not as discriminating as the YOUNG sales people. The analog & regular HDTV looked exactly the same. This Ultra HD with the 4K pixilation is so dynamic, that these old eyes were amazed. I opted for the Geek Squad to come and set it up, which was an equally great experience. Tech savvy people make it LOOK easy, but sitting back and watching them do it all was even easier.

I was looking for a 4K UHD TV and found the Samsung. Since I haven't yet upgraded my satellite TV to have UHD channels, I haven't gotten to fully utilize this aspect of the TV, but overall I like the picture (after doing some advanced adjustments that I googled). I additionally feel the sound is fine without a soundbar, which is not always the case with today's flat screens. I like being able to access the web from the TV and being able to connect my Bluetooth keyboard. I liked the TV so much (which had a bundled special with an Xbox One), I purchased a 65" version of the same TV. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that I haven't been able to truly experience the UHD component of the TV and thus can't speak to that.

I have never thought 4K could be so clear. This is the best TV I ever have. The smart apps certainly made me spent more time watching TV every night.

I purchased a 55 inch, 4K UHD Samsung TV with an XBOX bundled in for a great price. When the tv was delivered, I noticed the box was cut open at the top and assumed they had examined at the warehouse before delivering it. That should have been a warning, as was the fact the stand did not have any screws attached, and the driver had to go to the truck to get them. They set it up and left, and I shortly discovered that another individual was previously logged in to the Netflix account showing, with his lists, preferences, etc. In other words, I had paid for a new tv, but gotten an open box tv. Moreover, after the tv was on for a couple of hours, all the people on tv began to assume a bilious green cast, and the screen darkened to an amber tone. In other words, the TV was not simply an open box that had no operational issues, but had clearly been returned as being defective, and then resold with no further effort by Best Buy other than to put it in the box and slam it out the door. Then The real problems started. I called the customer service line and was placed on hold for lengthy - 45 minutes and up - several times. Finally reached a rep who indicated she was on my case and would follow up. She never further contacted me nor responded to any additional calls. Finally, a senior account rep assumed control of my issue, and indicated he would have a brand new tv delivered, and the old one picked up. This occurred as scheduled, and I am perfectly happy with the tv, which is an exceptional product, as is the X-Box, and I got a great deal on them. The Tv delivery men were cordial and helpful - both times - ,and I was satisfied with them. Best Buy was clearly obligated to pick up this defective tv and replace it with a new one, and that is what occurred. Had this been handled properly, I would be a big fan of Best Buy. As it is, my experience with the customer service and delivery group was among the worst experiences I have had in my entire life as a consumer. They were absolutely, with one exception, useless and unresponsive. I went out two days later and bought a 48 inch, 4K UHD tv for my grandchildren to use in the den with the new X-Box from HH Gregg. I do not see myself buying any further electronics from Best Buy as long as these items are commodity priced from HH Gregg, Walmart, or any other competitors.

I looked at several tv's and this one had all the qualities that I was looking for. Great picture, easy to set-up and and the price was in my range.

The tv has a clear picture that allows one to see everything with exceptional quality. The apps are easy to get to and I really enjoy using them.

Got this as a Black Friday bundle along with the Xbox One S two years ago. Works and still looks great. Purchased the new Xbox One X Scorpio Edition just recently and to my surprise, it’s compatible one of the TV’s that has UHD.

I purchased this because I bought a new Orbi router. I needed a new TV for my office. I did not have a 4K tv in my home theatre or or bedroom. I decided to change the tv in my bedroom and put it in my office. I upgraded my bedroom tv in my and love it! It is awesome. The picture is amazing! The functionality is easy to go to Netflix and internet! I can NEVER go back!

This TV looks fantastic and for the price you can't beat it. I was a little hesitant to get this tv for gaming and movies, but it blew me away

I have been very pleased with this Samsung 4k TV. The picture is great and really maximizes the 4K depth in color when viewing 4K programming on Netflix or Amazon Video. Great value for the price paid on Black Friday sale too.

This T.V is awesome! The picture is great and I love the small romote that it comes with! Not a lot of button just simple easy to work it.

This is a beautiful TV, with great picture. Unfortunately, like most (all?) modern HD TVs, it is very user-unfriendly for the hearing disbility. First, I had to get post-installation assistance to enable the optical audio to work simultaneously with the TV speakers: I needed the optical audio to attach a TVLink device that beams the audio to my hearing aids. Samsung tech support was unable to help, but eventually the GeekSquad provided the successful guidance. Then, closed captions do not work from the DVD player attached through component (3-color RCA video) jacks. Closed captions, found on older DVDs instead of English subtitles, do not work with digital inputs, only with older composite (1 yellow video RCA) hookups, and this LED has no such input. I have a large library of DVDs many of which I can no longer watch with closed captions on my so-called state-of-the-art TV. I am (now) aware that this is a problem with most modern HD TVs, but it doesn't make me any happier. Neither Samsung nor GeekSquad has helped on this. Perhaps I could have found another brand that still accommodates the hearing-disabled. Were it not for these hearing-related issues, It would have been five stars.

Beautiful picture, easy to use menu. Sound is magnificent. Samsung has always been a fave brand of mine and I would recommend this to anyone.

I absolutely love this TV. My electric bill was increased due to this tv but well worth it. You can see every pore on the actor's face. The picture quality is crystal clear and sound is great. I'd recommend this to anyone.

The picture quality and sound are excellent. The smart features make for an easy setup. The only downside I have experienced is the size of the stand-won't fit on the mantle and we had to mount the tv.

After having Sony TV's all my life, I find this model exceeds on quality and it is easier to navigate through the settings and set-up options

I bought this TV on sale for my husband for an early Christmas gift and we have been extremely pleased. This is our first 4K experience and I did a great deal of research prior to purchase. I chose Samsung because we have always been happy with the quality of their products and the reviews on this model were outstanding. This television was very easy to setup and the picture is phenomenal. Sound quality is impressive but we have a prior-generation sound bar we prefer. Overall, wonderful TV and even better with the sale price.

Wow, the picture on this TV is stunning. Makes everything come to life.. movies and sporting events are so fun to watch with this 4K TV

Wanted to give it a while before a review. Have had it for a few months and couldn't be happier with it. Huge screen (replaced my 47 inch LG, which is also a great TV). Hooked up to Xbox one; games, movies, and TV shows all look incredible. You will have to do some tweaking to get the picture you want, and there are plenty of settings so you can find what suits you. I hesitated almost a year before purchasing because of the few negative reviews, but I wish i hadn't. If you are are hesitant, do not be. It is a great TV.
