The TV has a really easy interface to use especially with the simple smart remote that comes with it. This remote does not have speech capabilities though, I believe that was added to the newer series. The picture quality is really good and the price is reasonable for a 4k 55in TV.

I thought I had good pictures in the past but this one is the best ever and I can't imagine better bigger (yes) but not sharper or with more natural color. I look forward to playing with the new features. By the way, the remote just looks radical. Work with it, you'll see

This is a very nice TV for the money on that day with the $100 off promotion. I have a 3 year old 46" Samsung led HD that I paid substantially more for and it's not UHD 4K but it most definitely has a more consistent better more stable in real black/dark scenes and overall picture. I am not bashing this 55" it's absolutely great for the size price and quality in fact I now prefer the remote now that I'm used to it with disc and minimal buttons and it is beyond a great tv for my taste. I believe it simply has a lower refresh rate than my 46 and that's where I notice the difference once in a while. Hook a game or blue ray to it and it's every bit as awesome of a picture as most anything I've seen. If you're a spoiled rich TV snob and have to have the best of everything than go spend 3,000 or more for the latest and greatest. I'm Very happy with this tv

Old TV had problems with hdmi ports. Went to Best Buy to check out new TVs. Really liked both the Samsung and Sony 55 inch TVs. Purchased the Samsung 55 inch 4K. 4K really makes a difference! Easy set up. Remote takes sometime to learn how to use.

I purchased this television as a gift for a friend, and after great reviews I purchased one for myself. So far so good, no issues with the quality. I can’t reference the sound because I use a sound bar. The only con I have is the Samsung account continuously logs itself out. So for updates of the software I have to manually log in each time.

WOW. This tv is great. nice picture, tons of apps, web browser, even play video games without a gaming console using either playstation or gamefly apps. It is easy to set up and smartly recognizes connected devices. We just love it

This TV is great in our living room. The quality is good and the remote makes a huge difference. Easy to setup. Was an upgrade for us. Though I am not a connoisseur of TV's this is a great buy for the average person.

This television is top notch. I have been using it for two weeks now and have been LOVING the apps. Netflix and Amazon Video look spectacular in 4K!!l Also worth noting is how accessible everything is. The menus are simple to navigate and apps load so much easier than previous Samsung models. The remote is basic but powerful. A handful of buttons allow for easy use. The built-in TV guide is as good if not better than that which Xfinity's X1 offers. Networking was a breeze and I have had no real bandwidth issues. My only concern is how deep blacks are rendered. There is some noticeable pixelation but not significant enough to be a concern. On the whole, I would highly recommend this television. Mount it, set it up in 10 minutes, and enjoy!

Ths TV has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is amazing and setup was a breeze. The included universal remote makes controlling other connected devices easy and has replaced my Harmony remote.

Sharp picture. Vivid colors. Looks great with regular HD Directv service. Would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a good 4K tv with a budget in mind. No issues so far. Set up is extremely simple. Great remote that works the TV, my Blu Ray player, Directv box, and sound bar.

After reading many reviews for the Samsung 55" UHD 4K TV we made the decision to pirchase. The setup was smooth and the results are magnificent. We took a little time to setup both our listening and viewing preferences. We are a couple in our 60's and it was not an issue setting up these customizations. Installed it on the wall in a corner and the viewing is excellent from any angle. I am a former MLB player and have been watching the playoffs. Motion rate is great with no blurring and the clarity is superb. We have already recommended this set to friends.

We have had TV for about a month, very pleased. Easy to use, great picture. Some reviews we read did not like the remote, we find it easy to use an really like it. Very pleased in this awesome TV!!

I am starting to think I am a "Samsung Snob." I purchase many Samsung products and they never disappoint. This Samsung - 55 Class (54.6 Diag.) - Led - 2160p - Smart - 4k Ultra HD TV is high quality, has a vivid picture, was easy to learn (the remote IS strange), and I am glad that it has Netflix as a smart option. I will let you know that I chose to upgrade my Netflix to the Ultra HD for better picture quality. I hope that Spectrum (AKA Bright House) will be offering Ultra HD soon, I think that TV channel quality could be better...but that is not reflective of the TV it is reflective of the cable provider. Overall great purchase :)

Good size tv for small family room. Super clear and sharp colors. Really like smart remote control and smart hub features on this tv.

Finally had to retire the SONY LCD 50" TV that served so well for 11 years. It was 720P upscale to 1080i but still provided a good picture I thought. Now that I have the Samsung 55" 4K it is amazing what I was missing. A standard 1080P might have done the job for today's offerings but Hopefully it will last through the transition to true UHD broadcasting and streaming. Setup was simple and pairing with the service provider was a snap. This purchase was a Geek Squad certified unit, maybe that is why the setup was so easy as they had to check everything. It was more than I had planned to spend but now am glad the purchase was made.

Writing this review 4 years after owning it. Great TV, I've had no issues. Picture quality is great. Communicates very well with my Xbox One X. My Xbox is the central hub of my entertainment, all voice activated and the TV responds perfect with it. Easy set up, you almost have to do nothing. The TV is smart enough to communicate with device's. I will say one thing, damaging or losing the remote can be catastrophic for control on the TV. Without that, the TV is almost obsolete.

I feel I can finally review my purchase after having the TV now for a year! I really couldn't be any happier with it. 4K content is great ( for the price) and gaming is also great with only a few times the refresh rate and caused a slight hiccup while playing BattleField 1 on my PS4 pro. The remote is simple and effective, at first I missed not having a numeric keypad but it really has grown on me. The only issue that I have with it is that a few months ago it developed 2 pixels, 1 red and 1 white. I planned on contacting Samsung but after a couple of days both disappeared and all has been good.

We are very happy with our new Samsung 4k Smart TV. The picture upgrade from our old 1080p LG is substantial, and up-scaling works great! The Smart feature is very nice, and easy to use. My Wife loves it for Netflix, and Amazon. The USB is a nice feature and we already watched a few movies off a USB thumb drive. It's a lot of features for a 55" 600 dollar TV! Samsung has better 4k models costing 3-4x as much, but we are very happy with starter 4k....especially when it's this good!!

Bought this TV as an upgrade from the little Sony I used to have. I had never had a smart TV before. The universal smart remote is a little unwieldy at first, but I've gotten more comfortable with practice. Great picture and very easy to set up. I was a bit worried that the base is not enough support for the screen, but I have had no issues. My only complaint is that a couple of the apps (Hulu, Chromecast) frequently lose network connectivity when I am using them. This may be a network/cable issue rather than the TV, but it doesn't seem to be an issue with all apps, and I didn't have this issue when using my Fire TV stick with my old Sony. It's not enough of a bother to warrant a return, especially when there are several other streaming options, but happens frequently enough to be frustrating.

I purchased this TV after having a VIZIO 55" Smart LED HD TV. That picture aws crisp as well. But its 4k season and buying NOW, while prices are at the lowest they will be.. Get a 4k Now 11/16..Prices are Perfect ANYWHERE..ANY gaming system XBOX,PS,PC..EVEN BLUE RAY MOVIES ARE SO AMAZINGLY BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE HAD AT MY FINGERTIPS. GAMING IS UN REAL IN MP.. U SEE EVERYTHING FROM EVERY ANGLE.WITH VIRTUAL REALITY GAMING ON THE BRINK OF REVEAL.4K will be a MUST to HAVE/USE TO ENJOY THE FULL EFFECT OF FUTURISTIC GAMING. 100% TRUTH..
