Extremely poor workmanship for a Samsung product

A week after buying it brand new from Best Buy the screen started flickering completely black. Although this flickering only lasted a second or so and was occasional, it nonetheless disrupted the experience. When I informed Best Buy of the problem (after getting back from a short summer vacation) they told me it was too late to get a refund / return and that I needed to deal with Samsung directly. So far 5 phone calls and 3 days later I am no closer to a resolution. I would have been happy to exchange and buy a more expensive TV from Best Buy, but after their unimpressive customer service I will get my money back from samsung (hopefully), and take my business elsewhere (definitely).
