I purchased the TV after doing some research into 4K TV's and I am very happy with the performance delivered by this product. The TV delivers a sharp picture with excellent, true colors right out of the box! I am very satisfied with the purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this product to my friends.

The TV and the Blue Ray have both performed exactly as promised. The sales person at Best Buy was very helpful in our decision to purchase these items, everything was explained so there was no doubt and our purchase went very smoothly. The two installers were excellent and that also went without a hitch.

This Samsung tv is unbelievable! The 4k is astounding and the brilliant colors are awesome. Can't wait for more 4k movies and series on Netflix too! I highly recommend this television ! 4k is here and it is definitely the future of tv.

It's everything I've always wanted in a television. The first one that we setup was defective. There were colorful lines going through the tv. I took it back and replaced it. The color is sharp. The only problem that I had was getting it connected to my Directv server.

In November my wife and I were looking to purchase a 4K TV. We did a lot of research and being die-hard Samsung fans, we thought we couldn't go wrong with another Samsung TV. We've always been very pleased with our other Samsung TV's. But, since they were not 4K it was time for an upgrade. After a lot of research we were stunned to find that Samsung just wasn't the best this year in their ratings and they had also dropped 3D from their lineup. Disappointed, as we wanted to keep 3D capability, we chose an LG curved OLED instead. My wife, not being convinced the LG could be better than a Samsung, demanded that we buy this Samsung and compare the two side by side in our own home just to make sure we were making the right choice. To make a long story short, the Samsung is a beautiful TV with a beautiful picture which is realistic. The curve is deeper on this set, and I absolutely love the remote and OS/Interface on the Samsung. But, it just couldn't beat the LG OLED in the end. Samsung's unboxing was more tedious and challenging, the metal stand is bulky and awkward to assemble, and doesn't make for easy moving of the TV. The picture was great, but when compared side by side to the LG OLED it just doesn't hold it's own. The LG OLED really blew Samsung away with the picture. The blacks are no where near as deep and the picture vibrancy and color scale not as "brilliant" as the LG. Dimming seemed better on the LG as well. The curve as I mentioned is deeper on the Samsung; whereas the LG was more of a gentle curve. I preferred the LG's curve because from a side angle, the picture remained as sharp as if I was sitting center. There are a lot of other reasons why we chose the LG and returned the Samsung, and it is to my dismay because I really wanted Samsung to be the clear winner here in my comparison, but for the money...the LG just made more sense. Oh, and it does have stunning 3D too. If Samsung brings back 3D, and works on the dimming and depth of blacks, and fixes the Wi-Fi issues so that it doesn't drop so often, then they might draw my attention again. Until then, I'm sticking with my LG OLED.

I bought the same TV in the 7 series and just wasn't 100% with the shadows and halos. I read about the 9500; very skeptical. I love the curved in my set up and I can say this tv is unbelievable. The upgrade is highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Picture quality is vibrant. 240 motion is great! My last Samsung lasted me 12 years! Love Samsung and hope to have this one for another good 12! Not sure how I feel about the brick with all the hdmi ports on it. It's the only downside I feel about the TV but I do understand that making it super thin requires sacrifice. Interface for the smartTV function is very easy to use. Got it up and running fast. Only struggle was getting it out of the box without damaging the curved thin screen.

I've been researching TVs for a while and patience is definitely a virtue! Money well spent especially during the holidays! The quality and contrast of the TV is outstanding! The curved TV does wonders and it can please every person in the room.

My first 4K TV and it is awesome. The clarity, color and features are well worth the money. Got it on sale and also got a free 4K Blue Ray player as well. The up scaling of regular TV is so much better and I cant wait for more 4K programming!

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this tv!!!! I love everything about it and keep finding new things to do with it. However the remote I wish was touch or can scroll on the circle button but other than that I love my tv!!!

This is an awesome TV! The TV is great with everything and the clarity of picture can't be beat. The ability of the TV exceeds the performance of the cable signal. It will be a very long time before you need to upgrade from this TV.

The TV was purchased for my husband's man cave (office). It has met my expectations with great sound and visual clarity. Since it was recently purchased, we haven't had it long enough to really identify any downsides or issues.

I had the Geek Squad install this new 55" curved screen where my old 40" was, and the differences were astounding! Not only was the picture so much more vivid, but the sound quality was off the charts! The install was into a bookcase, but extended out the front of it, really enhancing the 3D effect significantly. Everyone who visits comments on it. Because its on a bracket, it's super-easy to quickly realign for best viewing. The built-in features and slim remote are easy to traverse, from newbie/beginner to elite/expert user in just a few tries. I thought that the curvature might be weird, but now when I see a regular flat screen, I think that THAT is weird. It appears massive, but is very light. The quality of image is superior to almost every other screen out there, too.

You must remember that unless the show/movie is being broadcast in SUHD, then you will not see the same as in the store display. I love the TV. Still trying to figure out how to use all the options - I am not a computer geek!

You simply couldn't ask for a better 4K television. This tv is everything people are looking for in the realm of 4K. The curve is also very cool. It gives what ur watching depth and it really makes a bit of a difference.

Upgraded from an old Samsung 48 inch that I bought in 2010, by far the best there is. Picture quality is second to none and easy to setup right out of the box, remote controls every cable box, surround sound, and DVD player
