We waited 3 years before finally buying this at a discounted price during Black Friday. Total steal and well worth it. We went from about a 42-in tv from early 2000s to this 55-in that is about 2-3 years old. While I wish it had other features like voice commands/Google assistant, it does the job and has a great display. Great pricing for anyone just wanting to upgrade to their first smart tv with a larger screen. Also, very easy to set up, not super heavy, and comes with legs so you don't have to mount.

I like this TV for its 4K picture quality. The web browsing is great. I was able to open any web page, like on PC. Price was good for the time of purchase. Slim design is nice. One negative comment is on remote. The navigation buttons and exit button are very close and confusing. I have to be careful while navigating up-down, left-right not to accidentally press on exit or return buttons. Overall nice TV with nice smart features.

The picture is outstanding, especially when using xfinity. With my previous set, I thought there was a problem with the cable box, but with this Samgsung, that's clearly not the case. The set-up was easy and was completed in less than 5 mins. As a smart tv, I have no issues connecting to netflix and I sometimes spas out looking at U-tube videos... the sound and the picture are so clear. The only issue that I've had is sometimes, it will not turn on until I've disconnected the power and restarted it.

First of all, are there better Tvs out there? yes I'm sure. However when compared to the price of this Tv, the price to quality comparison is hard to beat. At the store it came down to this TV and the "other major brand" at a similar price. I went with this Samsung and do not regret it. I upgraded from an older model 50" because somehow the cable input broke. When I unboxed this TV and set it up, I kid you not I was watching TV in a flat 10 minutes. The hardest part was putting the TV leg stands on! When you turn it on you are prompted to a set up wizard and walks you on the set up. I haven't tried to set up Netflix on it yet but according to the wizard you can download the Samsung tv app on your phone and use it to input things like the passwords and screen share from the phone. If I am not mistaken it does require a Samsung phone, I do imagine any android should work tho. I honestly recommend this TV to anyone in this price range. It is bright, vivid colors. minimal edge bleed (some brands worse than others but normal in this type of panel) ... The only con I can think of is the amount of HDMI and inputs this Tv has. Some people might need 3 or 4 HDMI inputs and for some reason that gets crazy expensive with TVs in my experience. This was a non issue for me but it is something to keep in mind.

great picture, quality sound. light weight, easy to mount. 4K UHD provides great viewing of sports. Smart TV access is clutch, not needing firesticks and rokus. having access to netflix and amazon prime makes it much more user friendly.

After lots of research and comparing brands and prices, I finally decided on the Samsung TV. This 55 inch screen replaced the 47 inch screen in the living room. Although the difference in size is not overly huge I find the 55 inch is the perfect size for our living room. I also mounted this TV on the wall and it looks great. The picture is amazing. Truly gives the feel of "being right there". We watched the Superbowl on our new Samsung and it was just awesome. Crisp and clear. The TV this replaced did not have any Smart options. It is still taking me some time to get used to having such options available through the TV. I will admit having Smart options is pretty cool. Where I live the Kansas City Chiefs parade was not aired on local TV stations. The Smart option with the Samsung we were able to connect through the internet and watch the parade. The TV was very easy to setup, after getting it on the wall. Basically plug in and turn on. To date, I am very pleased with the purchase and glad I chose the Samsung brand.

So I spent a little over 300 bucks for this TV. Here are the pros: Cheap!! At this price point your not going to find a better buy for a UHD TV with 120hz refresh rate also you get Apple TV built in via a Samsung app. The Apple TV app saves you another 189 bucks!! The built in speakers are loud enough you don’t need a sound bar or external speaker right away. Cons:If your going to use the Apple TV app you have to be a little tech savvy (boomers needed not apply) you have to download the Samsung smart hub app and set up a free account before you can you use iTunes log in for Apple TV app. The Apple TV app does not support all Apple streaming apps IE: DC universe. You can log into Netflix, shudder, HBO now, stars, Hulu and popular streaming services but you need to be familiar with how Gen 4 Apple TV works. Streaming is choppy (sometimes) compared to the set top Apple TV. THE BOTTOM LINE: if your looking for a high tech TV and Apple TV is this a no brainer.

I got this tv for a security camera monitor to replace a 10 year old 20 inch computer monitor. It has a great picture for the price and I like that I can control it with alexa the only problem I have is it is mounted next to a curved 55 inch Samsung that is 3 years old and the remote will control my old TV at the same time but since I figured out I can control this with alexa that isn't an issue anymore. Replacing my 10 year old 1080p computer monitor with this was a no brainer this was actually $50 less than I paid for the little monitor years ago and now I can take advantage of the 4k output on my nvr and the microphones on the cameras. If you are looking for a decent sized 4k capable tv with a decent picture and not looking to spend a lot this is definitely a great deal for the price I would and have recommended it to my friends and plan on getting myself 1 or 2 more for my garage and porch.

I purchased a Samsung TV from BestBuy for my bonus room. I haven't had a new smart TV since they came out. I had been shopping around for the best price and quality. The picture quality of this TV was excellent. The price is affordable and it's easy to operate.

Purchased this one to replace a 10 year old 60 inch. The color and picture are amazing and this one is much easier to use. I use a Roku with this TV with no problems. The price was very reasonable also.

Excellent TV. Very lightweight and easy to use. We have had a projection TV for the years and finally upgraded and WOW what a wonderful and huge difference. So happy we bought this! Saving for another for the downstairs room.

It measures about 48 inches actually over my mantle. Easy to set up and well packaged! Read the instructions first, pinching while handling can cause damage, I had no problems. Great value for the money!

We bought this TV to accommodate a long living room in our new house. Great quality, great price, definitely worth it. Easy set up, and very easy to add and access all different apps.

We are enjoying this TV. Picture is clear and nice, can connect to our apps through the TV with ease. Set up was easy. Sometimes have to him the power button 2 or 3 times to get on or off. That is the only downside. Great family TV!

The tv picture, color, and motion technology are extraordinary. It was easy to mount, and has all the smart features we wanted. Phenomenal price for a Samsung.

I bought 2 of these tvs per Spectrum said their app was supported by Samsung TVs so no cable box is necessary, however they had error messages that have to contact Spectrum for the resolve and cant stream in ultra internet 400 due to tvs antenna limits are only 200. There was nothing in the specs that I could find that states the antenna..I wish I had known to ask that before I purchased 2 of these models. Both tvs have blurry pictures on most channels super wish hadnt bought them! Too much money for the poor quality! The size is great, putting them together wasnt too difficult. The remote is super tiny buttons and not designed as usual remotes so its awkward to use..like the play and fast forward line is tiny tiny at bottom of remote. I attached some pics. Overall I feel ripped off for the cost of these 2 base models and the poor compatibility and functionality.

Bought this on a black friday deal, picture quality is beyond amazing, GUI is easy to use and customizable, and the sound is "okay" for a TV speaker system. my only gripe is the remote on this model is a bit meh, so i may get a newer model remote to switch to. absolutely loving it so far overall, best TV i've owned to date.

I purchased this television during the Black Friday event. It was a tremendous value and the Best Buy staff, though extremely busy, took time to answer any and all of my questions. I didn't feel like they were trying to get rid of me to pursue another sale, they actually took a great amount of time in helping me and I greatly appreciated their assistance. It is my first Smart TV and is exactly what I wanted. It has many apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Sling and several others) already pre-loaded, is very easy to use and has a great picture. I could not be happier and would highly recommend this television.
