TVs Volume SUCKS

Have had it now for maybe 2 years. The volume is so low. When im in bed with a fan on, i have to put the volume at a 100 to actually hear the tv. Its driving me crazy, and im going to have to get a sound bar for it. If i could trade it in to upgrade to a better tv i would.

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust that may help resolve your issue.
1. Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On.
2. Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3. Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

For the price & quality, you’d think this was a $2k tv. Samsung is known well for making great TVs & this one stands by it. I put sound quality as “Ok” because I use a Bose soundbar system instead.

After messing around with the settings, the picture quality is great. Occasionally, the apps will kick me out to the home screen. Not really sure if those are app issues or issues with the TV. Overall a solid TV with few downsides.
