I bought a 65inch f for the living room at the end of last year, and just bought this 55 inch for my bedroom. They are crystal clear, extremely user friendly and ONE THIRD of the weight of the 5 year old TVs I replaced with them. The ONLY draw back in my opinion is the limited number of HDMI ports offered on the series, but you can get around that and for most people isn't necessary to begin with. Absolutely impossible to beat the value offered by Samsung on these gems!

Solid picture no issues with any ghosting on sports and pretty simple and easy to use all the menus and OS.

Even with the brightness all the way up. When watching dark shows, it’s almost impossible to see what’s happening. There’s also a problem with the picture. Sometimes there are lines that are VERY prominent. The only way I could get the lines to go away was after leaving the tv off for at least two minutes. Changing and/or resetting the picture settings didn’t do anything.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. I am very sorry you are viewing scenes that appear too dark. Samsung is aware of the problem, and a new firmware update will be released soon to address this issue.
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

I love the direct buttons on the remote to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. Also Samsung has their own programs that is a great option. This tv is far ahead of the competition and is so much easier to function than my dead lg tv. Also it is so good to have the Best Buy store as an option. Price at Best Buy was excellent also as Best Buy beat Sam’s, Walmart and Amazon. I have found that Best Buy beats all the big box stores on appliance prices also.

It's pretty close and the heat generated and energy consumption from this one is nothing compared to the plasma! The smart tv function is great and easy to use and to add apps to it - I was able to disconnect my apple tv from my receiver due to how well the app works on the tv. I'm super happy about that. I'm running everything through a Sony 7.1 receiver so I can't tell you about the built in tv speakers. I'm looking forward to when I move to mounting this up on the wall.....great unit.

The color is beautiful. The remote is crowded and not easy to use. We can use Netflix and Disney + easily from it.
