Great quality picture approve, when either watching movies video games or even cartoons for the kids

For under $400 this TV is one of the best you can buy, it is really high quality. It comes with 4K UHD HDR and the black levels and overall contrast is amazing with the right 4K content. Even when playing 1080p content, the TV looks decent, although usually when 1080p content is played on a 4K TV it can look choppy and somewhat blurred. However, with this TV most 1080p HD content on platforms such as Netflix, content gets natively digitally enhanced to an optimized “4K” using the chip developed by Samsung. I would recommend going through the TV settings and manually adjust the displays settings, in my experience movie mode is the best, and when tweaked correctly gives the most optimized experience for various different content. The speakers on the TV are also pretty good, not mind blowing, but for built-in speakers, when equalized in the settings, are pretty loud. I recommend using the amplify setting in the audio setting of the TV. The one downside to this TV which may be somewhat of a dealbreaker is that the user interface and software on this TV is not great, it’s can sometimes be slow and applications can end up being unresponsive. The best solution would be to buy a 4K UHD HDR streaming device such as an Apple TV 4K or an Amazon Fire Stick 4K, which is what I have now. If you decide to buy something like the Apple TV 4K, you have to make sure you buy a HDMI 2.1 cable to ensure UHD + HDR pass through, I realized when you do that, the TV gamma settings are enhanced, and change formats with HDR content, overall making the display more vibrant. If you end up buying this TV, I would recommend using the following display/picture settings: Picture mode - Movie In expert settings in picture settings: Brightness - full (50) Contrast - full (50) Sharpness - 0 Color - 37 Tint - 0 Picture Clarity -> Custom -> Judder Reduction: 3, LED clear motion: Off, Noise reduction: auto (if watching movies and tv shows) or auto (smooth, good for gaming and watching sports) Contrast Enhancer - High Color tone - standard Gamma - 2.2 Color Space Settings - Native

I’m very pleased with this unit the picture quality is nice and got a really good deal on it. It comes with some preprogrammed tv channels and some variety of smart apps overall great value for the money my only two complaints would be is that the apps and tv can be a little laggy at times and the tv remote is a little too small for me like it’s too easy to hit the wrong button bc it’s so compact and close together but it’s bearable if Samsung can account for that design flaw the usability would be much much smoother. Still would recommend this tv for anyone that is on a budget but still want quality

we've had this TV for almost 2 weeks now, it was bought for my elderly mom. It has such a great picture, you can adjust the sound to "amplify" which I appreciate (don't have to attach the soundbar so she can hear anymore), and its very user friendly, however I do have a complaint. For being a Samsung TV, I do expect everything to be top quality. When trying to select an app and moving through the home screen it does lag, which is very annoying, but this can be forgiven since the rest of the TV and it's features are pretty good. And it was a good price so that's awesome too

I recently purchased this TV because I wanted to replace my older tv. I had a 65” in my room which was bulky (Vizio). It still worked but was having issues opening up the YouTube and Netflix app that are installed into the tv. The picture on it was good but after upgrading to this tv I’m glad I did upgrade. The picture on my new Samsung is way more clear and sharper than what I had. The tv has very little frame around the screen. It feel bigger than a 55” . The price on this tv is the best I found for a really good tv. If I needed to buy another tv this size I would go with this one again. Colors are really nice and it’s not bulky at all. Definitely well worth what I paid. I feel like I underpaid for this tv.

Works great. Love the smart tv. Remote and tv easy to use. Easy to set up. Super thin frame around it so would recommend the tv size up- the bigger frame ones look bigger. Great price though and well worth it.

We bought this a little over a year ago. It was quite an upgrade for us and we love the quality of the picture. Sound is quite adequate for us, but I imagine some will want to hook it up to speakers or a sound bar. The free Samsung channel turned out to be plus for us.

Love this TV! Stayed up all night re-watching many of my movies just to enjoy how much better they look. I use this TV with a PC and high-end Yamaha home theater amp, very high-end Yamaha loudspeakers, rear surround, and sub, so I am not using it as a smart TV - although my son has the same unit as does use it as a smart TV with added Vizio 5.1 BT soundbar. We both agree it has a fantastic picture and performs very well. Colors are vibrant and the picture is crystal clear. Upgraded from a 9 year old LG Plasma so for me the improvement is remarkable. For the price I really don't think you can go wrong with this one. Sure there are more expensive and bigger screens but this one is perfect for my wife and I. I do recommend this unit if you're looking to upgrade and want to stay within a set budget.

This was a gift to my mother and she loved it! Samsung has always been my go to for quality and price. Its a great balance and I already have another Samsung on the way!

Solid TV, good picture, easy setup and easy to navigate menus.

The Samsung - 55" Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV is OK but not as good as our old unit that is also a Samsung 52”. The picture is good but takes too long to load and the remote is very slow. When you enter a channel with the remote it takes a few seconds to respond. When adjusting the volume with the remote it jumps either too load or low so you don’t want to hold the volume on the remote to long. Use several fast clicks to the level you want. The other problem we have is the inputs on the TV, There’s only two. We have three DVR’s that record TV shows and one that records security footage. There are not any RCA audio inputs so our sound system and DVD/Blue Ray that don’t have HDMI outputs won’t work. So have to get HDMI switcher and an RCA to HDMI Converter. Now I have the Security surveillance system HDMI plugged in to an HDMI input on the TV but have yet to find it on the TV. The TV comes with a quick setup sheet but no printed manual, the manual is built into the TV. It does have a USB input and a Cat5/6 cable input. Over all it’s a good TV, but it’s nothing near what our old TV was.

I love my new Samsung 55" 7 series 4K UHD TV Smart LED with HDR. Picture was crystal clear. It was easy to set up. I was concerned about the bigger TV how the quality would look. Turns out the size did not change the quality. The colors were vivid and bright.

Beautiful picture. I would deduct 1/2 star if I could because the remote is too small. the buttons are close together, but I use my Fire cube most of the time, so not a real issue.

great to for the price! I compare it to my 70 inch TV and it’s just a great no lagging on sports. It’s great great picture.

This tv has all the features I was looking for in a lightweight, easy to hang 55". The picture quality is outstanding. Easy to use. My only caveat is that I have not figured out how to get the tv to automatically send sound through the connected sound bar.

Entering into the world of "Smart TV" there was a bit of a learning curve. But, I'm happy to announce that I'm there. This Samsung TV has beautiful picture quality and the sound is such that I do not need to connect an external source .

An amazing purchase. I love that it comes with its own network of free cable channels. There's something for everyone in our house to watch. Only clunky part our accessing the settings when i need to change audio outputs or the source.
