Nice Low Cost TV

Samsung makes great, bright dynamic UHD TV's and the 7000 series proves this! The colors are vibrant and the clarity quite good for a lower priced set. Perfect for a bedroom, outside deck, etc. The built in apps are also a great addition. In fact, if you subscribe to Spectrum cable TV, you can return the cable box you are renting and use the built in app on the TV. My only minor knock is the lack of Dolby Vision. Samsung promotes HDR10+ - their version of dynamic HDR. Unfortunately, not many streaming services support HDR10+.

Very good performance and image and sound quality for the price. The remote is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The remote has about a bazillion buttons, a shock if you used to the more streamlined "smart remotes" most 4k TVs come with today. It's not bad, it's serviceable, just a lot more clunky and complicated. It can be difficult to "feel" your way through the buttons if being used in a dark room.

Samsung 55" 7 Series 4K TV

Picture quality right out of the box is great. While viewing football I did have to tweak the colors a little. Colors are sharp and contrast is great. We cut the cable at my house and purchased this TV for the apps and smart features to get live tv from the internet. Purchased right before Christmas and I have no complaints. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good tv without a huge investment.
