Have had an LG for 8 years no problems then all of a sudden the mother board went out. Decided it was time for a new one. Searched and found the Samsung 55 in. And the price was right. We went to get it and so much lighter and a lot of programs already on the TV. It was my birthday present from my husband. It was a good choice and glad I picked the Samsung. If I ever need another I will buy a Samsung.

Screen size, ease of setup, picture quality, sound quality, and color enhancement are all absolutely wonderful. The apps included are great, and the downloading of those not included, is quick and easy. The remote is great as well. Having some of the apps on the remote is an added bonus. It provides quick access to the most used apps. If the remote was backlit, it would be total perfection.

Great pic after the setup and a few tweaks

I am not a fan of downloading an app in order to set up a tv, but I just deletes it when I was done and I was able to register the tv for the warranty during the process. I also got a sound bar and there was some offset in the video and audio that had to be dealt with. The factory settings were pretty bad, but a quick google search and it looks amazing. Great tv at a great price, what more could you want?
