I love the color on this. I also love how it is set up. No need for us to have a firestick anymore. It's built in! The only thing I wish it had had was better instructions for the set up. We had to use the internet and even called our son, who had just bought a similar one. Great television, overall.

I bought this as an upgrade to my almost 10 year old 46” Dynex HDTV. The Dynex tv’s are still kicking but enough about them. I looked at a lot of reviews before buying this tv and decided to go with the 8 series despite the $100 more than the 7 because of the HDR picture quality the upgraded software and fancy remote are a nice touch. Also local availability is a big issue during the pandemic. Be safe!

Easy to set up, good quality picture. Many apps to choose from. Easy to use remote. When selecting Apple AirPlay Settings screen goes black with no choices/options to select. Can use Bluetooth to stream music from apple products but not videos. One of the main reasons we went with this TV was for music/video streaming with Apple products. We are not happy, but still trying to find a solution.

I replaced my 2 yr old 55" Samsung 7 series with this 8 series. The difference is considerable (for the better) Picture, sound, remote, are all so much better. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that both side edges appear dark, as if the screen is already failing. But I'm not sure on this. If viewed from direct center then the screen looks normal. I'm using the white screen on you tube to make this statement. When viewing any programing, the picture looks great, regardless of viewing angle.

This TV is beautiful. It had a great picture, right out of the box. We decided that it had a little too much green in the picture, so we chose another picture mode, and now we are even happier. We could have gone in and individually tweaked all of the components that make up a TV's picture settings (tint, etc.), but the global settings solved the problem, so it was not necessary to get under the hood. Others have mentioned the remote being hard to understand, and it is, but only at first. Like anything else involving technology, it pays to read the manual. But even then, you won't really know how to do things easily until you have done them at least once via guesswork. The reason that the remote is hard to understand is that it doesn't have very many buttons. That may seem counterintuitive, but that means that buttons must serve multiple purposes, depending upon whether they are pressed straight down, or used as rocker switches. Also, some buttons which might have appeared on a remote control are instead wholly absent, and instead are available as choices in your onscreen button menus. It takes some getting used to, but it is not rocket science. I haven't figured out everything this TV does yet. It can apparently record shows, but I only know that because we accidentally set it to do that, and were invited by the OS to cancel the recording!

This tv replaced a 43 inch tv in my living room. It has been an absolutely outstanding purchase. Ease of use and setup, picture is outstanding, and sound is even better than I anticipated. I was planning on adding a soundbar to it, but based on my living room size it was not needed. I would recommend to anyone looking for an easy to set up and a great viewing TV.

Great everything. Easy set up of the legs, still haven’t finished reading all of the instructions yet, but the major things don’t require instructions if you just play with the remote. My fire stick is plugged in as well as my PS5. I can use the remote to freely control everything plugged in with no programming!! The picture?? Forget about it! Crystal clear! When pricing this tv with the others in the same suggestion class, I found this to be the best option for the price.

Excellent picture quality and motion. Its our second samsung tv. We previously bought the vizio mq series tv but returned it bc it flickered too much. Then we bought the sony x750 but returned that too although it had the best picture quality by far, the motion drag was unbearable. Samsung was the best of three, great settings out of the box and nicest remote.

After comparison shopping for several weeks, I finally chose to make my purchase at Best Buy. I used the curbside contactless pickup option and had my television loaded into the back of my car within 5 minutes of pulling up. As far as the television itself, Samsung rarely disappoints. The picture quality is excellent and the setup was completed through my smartphone. Highly recommended!

I like the TV picture class 8 but it was a big hassle connecting to the internet (which may or may not be Samsung's design) I spent hours and was ready to return it, but one more try doing exactly the same thing finally worked. I find sound is inadequate without a sound bar. but the Polk Signa 53 enhances music very well. The remote is difficult to navigate--more effort than I want to put in to make something work, but the Fios remote does most things

Bought this tv for my elderly parents. They use it in conjunction with their Alex home app. Instead of fidgeting with tv remotes, they just talk to Alexa to work the tv. After just a few days of adjusting to the easy to use technology. They love it. The picture quality is great for their needs which is CNN, home repair shows and Netflix.
