Nice 55" TV

It took a while to set it all up. It looks great on HD programing. It didn't come with an HDMI cable.

Best buy did not offer their protection plan on this TV and that concerns me. So far it has been a much needed upgrade.

I love how simple the controller is with less buttons on it. The only issues is I do notice some bleeding on the edges. Not too much to make a difference on the beautiful screen.

Thank you for purchasing the TU8000 TV and for your review. I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your picture and sound and appreciate your feedback regarding the smart features.
We suggest you adjust sensitivity setting to optimize Bixby's response. You can adjust from low to medium(default), or high by going to Settings > General > Voice > Voice Assistant > Voice Wake-Up
Alternatively, you can press the Microphone button once, and then select Explore Now to go to the Explore Bixby screen. Select Settings and then select an option to change. Voice Wake-Up can have the sensitivity changed from High, Medium, or Low, or it can be turned off.
If your TV appears to turn off by itself, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.
See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer
If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer has been enabled and disable it.
- Settings > General > Eco Solution > Auto Power Off
- Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer

Great picture, questionable quality

Easily Mated with Polk Signa S2 sound bar but suddenly lost pairing within 2 weeks. Could not get it to recognize sound bar without going through an internal diagnostic and then suddenly re-paired, still don’t know what was wrong. Twice since has temporarily lost sound again. Turn it of and back on and it comes back. This TV may soon get returned. The tv itself with the exception of the sound bar problem appears to be excellent, really good picture.

Thank you for your review of the TU8000 TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues with your TV losing connection with your soundbar. If the you are losing connection when connected via HDMI, it is mostly likely the HDMI cable. Replace the HDMI cable with a High Speed cable with Ethernet Channel sometimes called HDMI HEC cable.
