In my opinion samsung is reliable and has great tech. All in all i am satisfied with this TV.

Currently have placed on minimal tv stand. I would give the tv 5 stars but I haven’t used the other smart features like the blue tooth, connect with cell phone and laptop, and Alexa. However everything else size, visuals for sports and actions movies have been great! I have the tv set up in a way where natural lighting isn’t an issue so therefore I have not encountered any issues with glare as of now.

I loved it so much that I ordered two 55 in samsung tvs (Samsung - 55" Class 8 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV) for two of my family members for Christmas. This is a great TV and well worth the price!

Internet connection problems

Since day 1 it’s been disconnecting from the wifi. We have to completely reset the wifi to get it to reconnect. Last night even that wouldn’t work. We used to own only samsungs, and if we were still in our return window, this would be gone. Btw we know it’s not the wifi. There are 3 other smart TVs in the home connected fine. We will just have to add a fire stick or something and deal with it.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing internet connection issues.
You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

It was a simple replacement for a few extra bucks. Couldn’t be happier!
