Nice tv but remote is not good

Unfortunately the remote control is probably the worse I have ever had. Needs a numerical pad. Directions were hard to understand and manual on screen were not straight forward. I had other Samsung’s and they had great manuals. Overall the tv itself has a great picture. I will still buy samsung but do more research on the remote.

I tried the new M series vizio and quickly realized that was not the TV for me. Thank you for the great picture Samsung. Speakers arent great but doesnt matter if you have a soundbar or other surround sound system.

The one major disappointment is that they downgraded the design of their remote control into a not-so-user-friendly slug of plastic without the same important features, functions, and layout of their previous remotes. it has no volume control, channel, or source/input buttons to be seen anywhere on it. The ring shaped button for up down right and left is too small to operate. I really like the remote that came with my previous Samsung I purchased a couple of years ago. As far as I'm concerned that remote is being replaced by my smart "smarter remote" until Samsung recalls this one and sends us a replacement.

It dose a good job with availability of streaming apps . The option to allow stright pass-through is nice , it lets my receiver do the decoding.

I think it’s a solid tv for the price and has a great UI. 4 stars because it has sponsored ads in the home menu and I hate ads. They are small and not intrusive so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me.
