We absolutely love our new Samsung 4K! Our original Vizio broke, so we needed a new tv, and we decided to make this purchase knowing that we will have this one for a very long time. You can’t go wrong with Samsung! The quality and clarity of this tv is fantastic! The sound is clear and is great, even without a sound bar! The remote is very easy to use! This is our first smart tv and I’ve been pleasantly surprised on how easy it is to use and navigate through all the apps! We are hooked now on Samsung and so thankful for the help from Best Buy on our recent purchase!

Easy to set up. Great picture. The Samsung TV channels are really a nice bonus if you're a cord cutter. Really good "bargin" TV for a pretty fair price. Samsung knows what they're doing when it comes to TV.

This is the best smart tv, it maybe not be the top trend but works like it should! Affordable and everything i need is in one system.

I am able to control the tv with my phone if I choose to do so. The one huge thing I learned was that each series of tv'S are different. I was going to purchase this exact tv but in the 7 series because it was cheaper but I did my research and the 8 series how so many more options and the picture display is so much better then the 7 series. Im not the best at setting up tvs to cable but this tv walked and talked to me through the whole process and knew when things were connected or got disconnected. It also comes with samsung tv for no charge which was just awesome!

Extremely happy with out purchase. This was our first 4K tv, and the picture is awesome. Very easy to set up. Price was right. Would highly recommend! The k my problem we seem to have, is the HDMI Arc connection. We bought a brand new sound bar, which works fantastic. However it should be hooked up to the arc connection, and we get no sound. The connection works fine as a stand alone HDMI port, so not sure what’s going on.

Excellent picture quality. Controls are intuitive, simple, ... easy to operate. The remote has a convenient Netflix button, ... takes you directly to N streaming, ...you don't have to wade through a bunch of screens. ...I use antenna as my main program source. I was concerned that a new TV wouldn't receive stations as well as my previous TV. To my surprise, when I scanned for programs, it received 57. That was several more than my previous TV. Those stations appear to have fewer interference problems. I attributed that to new TV's upgraded receiving capability.

After 11 years, I had to get rid of my old "flat screen" TV (it was about 6 inches thick lol) Got my moneys worth though. So, after some research, I found this TV. I enjoy movies and also game some. This TV has great picture and good features. Since most of my electronics are Samsung, it is a great addition. As soon as I plugged it in, my phone lit up and asked if I wanted to set up my TV! That was great! Made it real easy on my Samsung phone. Through the Smart Things app from Samsung, I am able to control my devices from my watch to my buds to my TV. I love it!

We really like this TV! I got fed up with a same size 2 year old Vizio where we could never achieve lip sync even on a Vizio brand sound bar. Plus the older TV had a weak image that lacked good blacks. Setup on the Samsung 55" was easy. Connecting a Mediacom cable box, a Blu-Ray player, our Alexa account, and a Samsung sound bar took under 15 minutes including training the remote. The TV itself is agreeably thin and light making one person installation quick. The image over cable is really very good, and the same for streaming services like Hulu and YouTube. There seems to be some upscaling for Blu-Ray because even older HD movies look much better and sharper. (For what it's worth, as of January 2021 Mediacom cable doesn't support 4K transmission and according to the FAQ on their site they have no plans to anytime soon.) I do wish that there was some kind of on-screen feedback that would tell you if what you are viewing is in 4K or 1080HD. Media of both types looks very good on screen. It's not like I could change the resolution of what I'm watching, it would just be satisfying to know that what I'm seeing is truly 4K. The Class 8 TV remote is much better than the remotes on the Class 6 or 7 TVs. Slim design, bluetooth connection to the TV, and voice control-enabled it is much easier to use than the multi-button remotes found on the other TVs. I wouldn't have thought that the type of remote would make a difference but it does. Three weeks after buying this 55" TV our smaller 43" in the living room died. Given our satisfaction with this new larger TV I purchased a Samsung 43" Class 6. After using the slim bluetooth remote on the 55" using the multi-button IR remote on the Class 6 is just clumsy and finicky if you don't have it pointed directly at the set's IR receiver. The 55" would have been better with four HDMI ports, and any TV that doesn't support the apps you use should have four ports. Cable box, Blu-Ray player, ARC to sound bar audio, streaming device (Roku/Chromecast/Fire Stick)... pick three or buy a $90 HDMI switcher with yet another remote. Thankfully the Samsung models have our app choices available.

We updated our tv for the spa. It was easy to setup and operate. It’s got a beautiful picture and I love the easy to use remote.

Middle of the road in terms of pricing. Not bad at all. The Images look good, streaming and playing xbox one functions as advertise. This what I found works for me personally in the 500 dollar range. It is very light and easy to assemble. The motherboard attached to the frame its kind of loose. When I plug an accessory, HDMI, coaxial or USB the connectors do not seem to be very well attached to the frame. Seems kind of cheap for a 500 dollar TV. Overall I am a happy camper. Great TV if you have Samsung Smartphone, tablet and sound bar.

Was in the market for a 55" 4k LED TV and ran into this model on a Top Deals. Didn't need much in terms of specs, just 55", 4k and LED. Everything else is a bonus. I ordered this online and picked it up later in the afternoon. Setup was a snap. The remote is minimalist. Connecting WiFi was easy. Only HDMI connections are DirecTV and a Sony PS3. The colors and images are excellent. Sports games were fluid. I already have two of the Series 7's in 65 and 50 inch versions. This series 8 did not disappoint. I would buy this unit again.

An excellent upgrade from my previous flat screen. Great picture, and nice features. The remote is simple and set up wa easy.

What i love is the features, but what i don't like is that now they're unavailable, i was looking forward to buying it at 75 inch

Great for price! Nice picture and sound, loaded with features. Great for streaming: Netflix, Hulu, and Prime buttons on remote save you from having to scan through menu.

Good value. I bought this because I have an older Samsung smart TV and have enjoyed it. I like the pre-configured buttons for Netflix and Prime Video on the remote. These streaming apps load very quickly. The 4K resolution will be a welcome improvement. I have had some issues with Prime videos sending me to the web site for video help. I didn't find a solution there, but was able to get things going through a smart things app on my iPhone. Samsung streaming channels are new to me, so I am checking them out. Nice bonus content.

The perfect size and the price is affordable. Easy to setup. Picture quality is great. Very happy with purchase.
