Very nice picture and the sound is quite good as well. I still added a sound bar for added audio crispness and for some bass. The only reason why I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because for some odd reason HDMI 1 does not work. My cable guy tried everything and nothing. However, luckily this model has 2 other HDMI ports which is enough for my current needs.

We have had positive experiences with Samsung in the past. I have to say that Samsung did not disappoint with this model so far. I was going to get a sound bar initially, but decided to wait until later. I am glad that I did. This TV has more than enough boom for me. I would recommend this TV. Great value for the price.

This tv is superior. Crisper picture quality. OK sound, let's face it all these tv's speakers are not great. The remote is a huge upgrade over the 7000 series. The other two tv's had a white wash look to them which I hated. This tv is looking exactly the way a tv should look like at this price point.

I love it! our sales clerk was very helpful In choosing the TV and items needed to install. The Geek Squad guy (Christopher Kowalski) who delivered the TV and set everything up was very helpful. He said I would have a refund for a cord that I bought that wasn't needed. I'm not sure if I got that credit.

Great TV

I had a Sony that was 6 years old and the picture and sound was not good. The picture was very dark and not clear. Samsung is known for the best TV’s. I went for the slighty entree one in this category. I don’t game. So I didn’t need top of the line. This is perfect for me.

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust that may help resolve your issue.
1.Aut o Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On.
2. Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3. Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

Needed to have same specs as it was being used as a monitor for Apple. Best buy associate was extremely knowledgeable and helpful is determining which 55in Samsung was comparable to the one I was replacing. Saved the day!

I have not noticed any ghost trails at all, even with the "slower" refresh rate. The contrast is good and is very clear even in our well-lit bedroom.
