    Im really happy that i chose to buy this TV. Its the first tv i bought myself. It was worth every dollar and me and my boyfriend enjoy playing games on it and watching out shows together

    Been a Samsung user for years. Bought an LG TV, but had to exchange it to this, as it doesn't feel the same using a different brand. Only issue I have with it is, it has a small white spot on the screen which becomes very visible in a light background color.

    Absolutely love this TV. Have it hooked up to my Bose surround Sound and what a awesome viewing experience. Love all the Smart TV features. Would definitely recommend to Family and Friends

    Samsung will not honor warranty.

    Failed TV is 70 days old. Lines appeared. Called Samsung, they will do nothing to help and will not honor warranty. I have several Samsung TV's . Will not ever buy Samsung TV's again.

    For the first time im disappointed on a Samsung tv and thats this one the 8000 series smh it has horrible white lights on the corners . The resolution is very low no color , for being advertised as 4k .. Also none of my other older model tvs are made of such a bad quality….

    When watching something dark there are various bright spots. I returned the first one I got because it was absolutely horrible. The second one was great the first day then the next day it developed bright spots around the edge.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 TV and for sharing your experience with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:

      1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections

      2. If the issue persists, define precisely what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, and fixed horizontal or vertical lines.

      3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    I asked in the store if this TV came with the YouTube TV app. Not YouTube. YouTube TV. He said yes, so we bought it. It does not come with YouTube TV. Nor is the YouTube TV app available. Surely I can open the YouTube app and from the menu select YouTube TV? NO. Come on Samsung. Now I'm going to have to buy a Roku. Very disappointed.

      I’m sorry to hear that your out-of-box experience has initially fallen short of your expectations. We completely understand your frustrations, and we are here to help.

      The AU8000 is compatible with YouTube, YouTube Kids, and YouTube TV applications. Please know these are separate services provided by YouTube and cannot be accessed through the same application.

      The YouTube app is preinstalled to the AU8000 and will be available through your TVs app launcher after connecting to the internet during setup. For the live TV service, YouTube TV, you will need to search for and download the YouTube TV application from your AU8000's built in app store.

      From the TV's Home screen, navigate to and select APPS, and then select the Search icon in the top-right corner. Next, enter the app you want to download and select it. You will see detailed information about the app. From here, select Install.
