    TV only last for 6 months and quit. BestBuy could only give a number to call Samsung for technical support. Just be aware before buying a Samsung tv there

    I purchased this television in June and had issues with it from day one. The sound quality is so poor that I had to immediately purchase a sound bar. Then I noticed blurred out dark images while watching certain contents. I cannot watch my beloved old westerns because of this. I summoned the Geek Squad , The cable company ( Verizon ) , and Samsung tech support. This situation is still ongoing and I have doubts that it can be rectified.

      If you have not already, please try these troubleshooting tips to address the blurred images.

      First, let's ensure you have the latest Firmware installed on your TV. Please go to Settings> Support> Software Update and update from there.

      Next, follow these steps:

      1. Disconnecting and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet
      2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback.
      3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV.
      4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box.
      5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required.
      6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode.

      Please know the compression of video content may cause picture distortions, especially in fast-moving pictures from sports programs and action movies.

      - If the signal reception is weak or poor, screen distortion may be visible, but it is not a malfunction.
      - Mobile phones used close to the TV (within 3.2 ft) may cause noise on analog and digital channels.

    Lines appear on screen within 3 months

    The TV did not work well for even 3 months. Recently I started noticing a couple of horizontal lines across the screen. It is anybody's guess where it will go from now. It cost me $600 and did not last even 3 months. What a joke Best Buy! What a joke Samsung!

      Thank you for letting us know about the image display issues you are experiencing on the TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help you and have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try.

      1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections

      2. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      3. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      4. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      5. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    Screen damaged

    Delivered Sep 21st 2022 screen is now “broken/ damaged” on Dec 15th 2022. Not sure what to do. I am a total tech member but not sure if that will help. Look at the photo. I always buy Samsung but this one is for sure a dude.

    I recently purchased the 55-inch Samsung TV and have been very pleased with my experience so far. The picture quality is outstanding—crisp, vibrant, and incredibly detailed. Whether I’m watching sports, movies, or streaming shows, the colors are rich and true to life.     I miss my Roku

    As someone who used to have a Roku TV, I miss the simplicity of it. I also miss several of the free apps I could watch on my Roku. This Samsung TV only has big brand Apps. My complaints aren't about the workability of the TV, but the software that runs it. I couldn't figure out how to get it to recognize my TV antenna, so I'm stuck streaming the big brand apps only. Once again, not a TV issue, but software. I like that I can turn on my TV from the app on my phone, but wish the app was easier to use. Other than turning the TV on, I find it practically useless. The TV itself works fine with a good, clear picture. I bought a separate soundbar, so cannot comment of the sound quality of the TV. I have buyer's remorse. I wish I had bought a TV that used Roku as the user interface.

    I have been buying all my electronics from Best Buy for over 25 years, especially my TV's and Tablets, all of them Samsung. I think I have every Tablet they've made and I have my favorite now, the S7plus. But this review is for the Samsung Crystal UHD AU8000 55" Television I bought last week. It's replacing a Samsung 6 Series 43" Smart TV thats only about 5 years old and works great. But, there is No comparison between the two because of the quality of the picture, the ease of setting it up with all my other Samsung products, and the speed of the processor. I could have bought a Q Series and other higher end Samsung TVs, but why? This is so awesome and "Smart" this 65 year old man is thrilled with every feature. I could go on and on. I'll give another review in several months, but I don't expect my opinion to be any different. If you haven't tried a Samsung Crystal UHD AU8000 any size I believe you should try one. It won't break your bank account and is a breeze to operate. Yes I am a biased Samsung customer, but there are many great reasons why I am. I would decline buy again, but highly recommend it.

    Wonderful TV with an amazing picture. Its very easy to navigate when using the smart tv functions. My only complaint (and this is a small one) the TV remote is so thin it is very easy to lose.

    We love this tv. It supports the spectrum app and every other app we use. The picture is great. Set up was easy. It does have a couple of glitches though. We like to adjust the picture brightness but it defaults to Samsung tv channels when you pull up the menu. It's annoying that we can't continue to watch what we’re watching when we need to reset the brightness. Our other complaint is that it pairs with just one remote. On our last Samsung, my husband and I each had our own remote, which made things convenient. Now we're back to searching for the one remote that he usually misplaced. Fun. Samsung, if you're listening, sell tvs with two working remotes.

    The bright colors stand and makes anything look great when viewing. I purchased two of these for tv's in the house that need placing. You still can get quality tv without breaking the bank. The apps were easy to setup on screen. I would give it 4 and half stars. It is only because the remote needs more button and sometimes was intermittent interacting with tv.

    The slim style, with the picture quality is more then I could ask for. Menu setup which allows you to still watch a show while scrolling through apps. Making it easier to navigate between streaming platforms. All while enjoying your show. Recommend to anyone and will further invest future products.
