Like the TV is smart looking...but....is like pulling teeth, have you ever pulled teeth? Me neither, I'm no dentist but I can only imagine. Like OMG!!!...also for some reason the Amazon Video App is so dark...no matter how I play with the pic settings.....I have a Samsung 6 series 55" from 2016 and playsback much better and the smart navigation while similar is much much faster. Don't waist your money on this one, unless you can take slow.

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with a slow user interface and a dark picture when using the Amazon Prime Video app.
To ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there if necessary.
Then, I recommend utilizing the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

However, the Google TV smart interface is way too busy, and lags after my inputs. For some inexplicable reason, when I turn the tv I occasionally find it has lost connection to my Wi-Fi. This is the only device in my small home that does this, and the router is 15’ away. No Philo app available on Samsung smart TV.

We recommend you try the following to resolve your Wi-Fi and connectivity issues.
1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router, so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
Additionally, try running Device Care to optimize the TV’s performance, which improves your app's performance by freeing up unused cached memory and closing background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Open e-Manual, then select Device Care.
