Beautiful picture, easy to use set up and navigation, stays connected. The only negative I’ve noticed so far is dark scenes look cloudy/not crisp.

Samsung is probably the best brand I own. I have my original from many years ago that still works but outdated. This tv is awesome especially for the price.

Samsung - 55" Class 8000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV Great tv that I've owned for about 8 months now. I'm not an expert so I'll keep it short and to the point. You will want to purchase a sound bar for this tv if the viewing area is subject to background noises frequently, appliances running in the background and other frequent sound intrusions can tax your ability to hear the full audio transmission, as a side effect of the tv's thin design; The speakers have little depth and you'll be increasing the volume with little benefit in return. I happened to have an older sound bar system that the tv recognized easily & synched to the bluetooth remote with little effort. The problem one might incur, is with equalizer adjustment, which is a function of the sound setting. At least one setting only allows adjustment of the bass speaker, the other allows full range equalizer adjustment, so keep this in mind to avoid blaming the sound bar system. A major complaint and the only real complaint I have so far, is the tendency for the sound to drop from the Samsung-TV stations, requiring changing to a different station momentarily to restore it. Lately a new variant of that problem has occurred so far with channel 1000 currently 16July23 listed as the "Movie" channel. Twice the the TV has completely locked up at approximately the same position during the same movie on a different day, and by lock I mean failing to respond to any remote input, including attempts to turning the tv off. Once power is cut and restored, it functions normal. It has happened a total of 3 times over the past week, only on channel 1000, while labeled "Movie" channel. It never locked when the same station was slated for a talk show host, however the sound would drop on occasion as it does with all the other Samsung stations. Over air stations never have this problem.

Getting a TV this big was a splurge for me. I never watched a lot of TV...but was being encouraged to watch this show or that show. But being elderly I could not get my older TV to keep the settings that I needed to watch the streaming channels. This television is the bomb y'all. I love it. So easy to operate. I know there are tech folks out there that can tell you a lot more than I can...so suffice it to say that this set makes watching an enjoyment that I had not had before. The picture is so clear and no added sound bar is needed. Hit home on the remote and all of our apps are right there to see and choose...no hunting around and getting so frustrated you turn it off. And the price is great.

Amazing TV. The free Samsung TV streaming is an outstanding bonus especially if you don’t have a ton of streaming services there is always good free content just like if you had a cable. 100’s of channels

In this case the 8000 tizen processor is worth the extra bucks. as compared to my old 6900. Channel changes, menu changes and APP startups are quick and snappy as compared to my old 6900. Its got bluetooth which I now use -- Dolby movies sound great even in 2 ch. The 3rd HDMI port is really handy, I have all 3 ports already filled. I really didn't see a down side to this purchase... I only wish it was OLED.

Have had it for almost 3 years and overall it’s a great TV. The only problem I have is every once in a while it doesn’t want to connect to my home wifi and the Home Screen is all blank except for live TV or when I try to open some of my streaming apps, they just sit on the loading page forever. The only way I can fix it is to restart the TV from settings. Other than that, I have no problems with the TV.

Bought this for my mother and father in-laws. They needed a new energy efficient tv from the one they had bought 15 years ago. Picture is sharp and color is very well only thing I would change would be the remote it is very limited and small almost like a fire stick.

Samsung has become my go to television brand. Because I have rental units, I need televisions that I can set up quickly. I also need to understand how to quickly assess and resolve any issues with the televisions. I have found Samsung televisions to be the most dependable and easy to use.

I love my tv, good image, easy SO, the control is very compact.
