    Great value! We tried a PCN first and it was almost unmatchable. This TV has the typical Samsung quality, and a good operating system for smart TV. The Samsung TV plus is an added bonus with lots of great, free content. Recommended.

    I cannot give full five stars because when I turn on my television, it's on some dog show that I am not interested in seeing. Maybe this is the "wave of the future" but I don't like it. Other than that, it's a television. I can watch my shows. It turns off when I press the button. Nothing fancy to me.

    Noise When T.V. Turned Off

    After having this T.V. for a few months it started to make a steady clicking sound when turned off. Read online that this has been an issue since at least 2018 without a definite fix. Waiting to see if it will stop on its own, as some people have found.

    Very nice TV but it has so many capabilities that need the Geek squad to come out and show me how to set it up more for my with my spectrum remote.. Have not had time to do that... I do have your service protection program

    Annoying Popping Noise

    I love Samsung TVs and I really love the picture quality on this one, but I will be returning it tomorrow because of the annoying popping sound. At first, I thought it was water dripping inside of the wall, but the sound definitely comes from the lower right side of the TV when it is turned off. The sound is NOT occasional! It pops/drips/taps all night and all day (until the TV is turned on again). I probably wouldn't notice it if the TV was in another room, but it's in my bedroom. It's a pain having to take it back to the store, but the sound drives us crazy in the middle of the night. Please fix the issue Samsung and stop saying that the tapping is "occasional" because it doesn't stop until you unplug it.

    Cheap TV that isnt worth the money. Its very slow to respond even when trying to navigate settings. At times, all fbuttons/functions freeze on the TV via remote or app including volume, home, arrows etc. Only option is to turn off and unplug to reset.

    Unwanted dripping sounds

    Great picture. Won’t control my sound bar, there are not settings for a Bose SoundTouch 300. It has a annoying dripping sound when the television is turned off. We will have to get it replaced or fixed. The noises are a known Samsung issue.

      Please ensure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled on your TV. With Anynet+, you can control external devices that are connected to your TV with HDMI using your TV remote. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC).

      Please know, Samsung TVs use a combination of metal and plastic material. These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard. Additionally, certain components within the TV may cause these temporary noises once powered off. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.

    The installer was great. Where I had trouble was four missed appointments for a claim inspection on my tv that stopped working. The claim was finally paid but it took about a month and lots of waiting around for the inspection.

    I purchase a lot of tv’s for the company I work for and Best Buy is the perfect place. Most of the employees are very knowledgeable and a great help. Best has a wide range of inventory so you can find what you want easily.

    volume does not work most of the time especially if with soundbar. it can be in 100 and you still wont hear anything

    Knocking Sound?

    There's a continuous knocking/clicking sound from the back of the TV (almost like a clock ticking). It's only heard when the TV is turned off. Very annoying if you're trying to read a book, sleep, or just want quiet time in the same room. This seems to be a known defect (?) since 2018 when I viewed the trouble-shooting methods online. This was not an issue with my previous Samsung TV. Otherwise, good sound, good picture.

      Thank you for your review of Samsung's AU8000 TV. We appreciate you sharing your experience with hearing an odd sound coming from your TV. Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. Is the sound coming from your speakers, or is your TV connected to an external audio device like a soundbar? If so, please make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device.

      For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information

      If the sound is coming from the back of the TV, the expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.

      You may also want to run a Sound Test by going to :
      Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test
