I used to buy some of the cheaper versions and find the decided to put a little more money into it and buy a Samsung. Great investment and I feel like it was worth the $500. The only problem with it is the number of apps available at this time. One of the main reasons I bought it though was to have the spectrum app. A great TV for someone that just doesn't have the money for one of the big ones.

Great picture and very easy menu board to setup!!!

Had my Samsung 55'' TV for a little over a year now and it works & sounds great. Currently in my living room and was able to mount it to the wall without a problem! Will definitely keep the Samsung TV brand around in my household

I purchased this tv because I needed something quick. I wasn’t expecting much as I realize it’s a lower tiered Samsung 4K tv, but I was blown away by the picture performance after I hooked it up. I was considering a higher end Samsung but didn’t want to break the bank so I thought the au8000 for the price would be a decent alternative. I have had numerous Samsung tv’s throughout the years including a few 7 series tv’s. This tv by far has the best picture. I actually think it has a better picture than my high end Vizio tv. The setup was easy and The built in apps to me are better than what other tv brands offer. The fact that I can get my directv stream app directly on the tv without having to use a Roku or firestick is a major plus. If you are in the market for a new tv I recommend the 8000 series. You won’t be disappointed.

Samsung TVs are very good and won't break the bank I have own one now for about 10 years still have the same pitcher quality as the day of purchase

I had a previous Samsung 48 inch TV that unfortunately started showing signs of wear so I went through many different reviews to see if I could find a good replacement for a good price. This TV is definitely yet. The screen is bigger than my previous one. Picture is clear. And the amount of content that comes with a smart TV is incredible. There are so many built in free channels and great way of accessing your content from other pay sources. I use this with my Apple TV 4K and usually get a great picture. I am somewhat disappointed in the availability of changing colors to a full spectrum. At first my picture was coming in a bit too Reddish, but I made several adjustments and I think I finally found a good picture quality that satisfies my taste. You may need to research and keep working with the colors to make it suitable. Otherwise for the price, less than $500 on sale, it was an amazing deal and a fun purchase.

This Samsung is definitely very nice. I think it’s better than the tcl 55’ 6 series I purchased first. Watching tv looks so realistic. So far everything is great. I opted for this tv since my tcl had hdmi port crashing two days after purchase. This may be cheaper but it certainly performs better and looks amazing. No issues so far. Hope it last me a long time.

nice color & picture, I had geek squad install it on the wall on an adjustable mount then I can tweak it so no reflections are noticeable. It does put off some heat. My 1st large screen set, my previous was a 35'' CRT style from 1999. Geek squad took the old set for free

Best TV ever for a medium size bedroom. I love the quality on it. Im a Samsung fan and I just recently purchased on another Samsung TV for the living room. Overall I've had a good experience owning Samsung TVs.

My first smart TV and I absolutely love it, a great addition to my living room, the screen size is perfect. Because of the size of my space I did not purchase a sound bar, and I am satisfied with the sound. All in all I am very pleased.

Picture and sound are pretty good for the price point. Nothing outstanding, but definitely good enough for my needs. Software is worse than my old Samsung tv from 5-6 years ago. Slower, with a lot more input lag. Annoying when it happens, but not so much to make it unusable.
