We appreciate your feedback on your AU8000 TV’s picture when watching fast-motion. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.
- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

It’s unfortunate to hear your AU8000 TV screen exhibited damage upon unboxing and setup. Even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, the damage could have been done if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit.

I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with the quality of your AU8000 TV's image. I have a few recommendations that may improve your experience.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

Great color on TV but remote needs attention.

Like all new product you basically have little instructions. Yes there are instructions on how to install the legs and where the controls are. The remote has very few buttons and no written on the remote. Each button does multiple things depending on how you push it or which direction you push it. As for programing the TV I still haven't figured out how to manually add a channel that the auto search didn't pick up. There is local channel NBC that has a strong signal and all my ofher TV's pick this up but not this TV. Thought about ordering the old remote that has the functions on it but we have Satalite so I can pick up this channel thru that.

It took a little time to figure out how to use the remote but once I did, it was simple. Big negative issue. The preinstalled app for Prime Video is compromised. If you use the QR code it's fine but if you use the option to go to a website, make a phone call, etc. you will end up working with people in India and it is a scam. If you don't stop the process you will end up with a frozen Amazon account that requires work to reestablish.
