    Broke After a Year and Several Months

    Tv was great and then I got the black screen of death after not even having it for 2 years. Took great care of it, never dropped it, spilled nothing on it, good as new and then one day it wouldn’t turn back on. $400 to repair… definitely shoulda got the Samsung 2 year protection plan but still… this was a brand new tv and it shouldn’t been breaking down and coming out of my pocket because it wasn’t made properly.

    Worked perfectly for the first two weeks after purchasing. Then it started having problems hooking up and staying connected to our Wifi. At times, it won’t connect at all. I’ve checked our Wifi connection and checked the other televisions in our household and the other sets work perfectly. I did purchase a one year warranty. But in order to use the warranty, and because the television is over 40”, Best Buy won’t take it back in store for exchange. Apparently, they want you to contact Geek Squad and make a appointment so they can send someone out to your residence to diagnose the problem. What a hassle!

      I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Wi-Fi disconnecting from the TV. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue.

      First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. To ensure you do not miss any Firmware Updates, I recommend enabling Auto Updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update> then select Auto Update.

      Next, let's try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

    Screen is very dark even at brightest settings. Sound volume is not very loud

      It’s unfortunate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture or sound quality of your CU7000 TV. Please know that we are here to help you.

      First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

      Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.

      For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.

      Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.

      You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

      Next, there are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.

      1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.

      2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.     It’s great but I guess Samsungs just have a pixel problem. This is my second Samsung tv and it already has a dead pixel. The same thing happened with my other tv. Overall it’s a good tv just got a bad one. It’s a gamble with Samsung nowadays.

    My tv is practically brand new and randomly started flashing rainbow colors on 60% of the screen while playing video games and is now inoperable. The warranty process is a joke and it will probably be a month by the time they finally get someone out here with the part to try and fix the TV.

      First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

      Next, run a diagnostic test. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. If there are no issues during the Picture Test, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines.
      - If the line still appears after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.
      - If the line appears during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.

    Won’t ever buy anything through the on line purchase . I ordered a watch phone on line . You sent me a belt and buckle. When I called your store they said sorry as the customer who ordered the belt got my phone. You said that this phone not available so I had to pay more for my order.

    I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this TV! First off, taking the TV out of the box and installing the two leg stands was EXTREMELY easy. I'm a 48-year-old female and did it alone. After setting up the physical TV, you plug it in and the TV does ALL the set-up work for you. It connected all my streaming apps, my sound bar/subwoofer, remotes, internet, phone etc. all seamlessly and with ZERO frustration. The visual quality is stunning and the sound is great with or without my separate soundbar on. The home screen is very easy to use to get to your streaming apps etc. I'v had zero issues with the TV, and it truly is a SMART TV. If you have a hard time with technology, this TV is for, it literally walks you through anything you want to do with it. I also enjoy the Samsung LIVE TV channels as well that are free and require NO subscription to anything. A+++++

    The quality of the screen is great! The screen does not really make a glare. The TV is also very light weight and made it easy to mount on the wall. The remote is great if you have Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, because it has quick buttons. I've been able to connect all my streaming services with no issue. I can also connect my bluetooth speaker to my TV. But the TV alone has really good volume. The only thing I should have considered is that the remote does not have a mic, so it can be a little annoying to have to type in full emails/passwords when logging into the streaming services. I've had the tv for about 6 mo now and no issues at all.

    This TV was about $40 more than the Roku I was looking at and was recommended much more highly by a sales guy. I spent the extra money and I don't regret it. The good: The picture quality is excellent, the brightness is also great, and the sound is nice. Somewhat easy to navigate. The bad: There's a decent amount of motion blur when watching movies or shows. The setup is kind of a pain if you want to connect it to HDMI, Antenna, or really anything external. I wasn't given an option to simply skip all the "smart" features and say connect to HDMI 1 or whatever is plugged in. I noticed my mum's HiSense is a bit faster when navigating the menus with the remote. Samsung must have included either an older generation processor, or something from a lower, less expensive model because there's some serious lagg. I connected this to my Mac Pro 5,1 and the picture is great! I thought I needed something larger, but nope! This thing at 55" is massive for my desk. It's however on a cheap Amazon TV stand and probably at the stand's limit for weight. Oh yeh, this thing is heavy at 30lbs. Would I have chosen something like a 120Hz TV, or something with OLED? Yep! I only had enough to buy this one, and am not unhappy with my purchase! I think to surmise my reaction; "OMG, this thing is absolutely massive !!! I did not need a 65" like I thought I would."
