I purchased my Samsung - 55" Class CU8000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV on 12/30/2023 because my cat tried attacking something on the screen of my last Samsung TV. I would say for the price, it's better than many of the other options I looked at. Pros- • I especially like the solar powered remote • ability to cast my phone screen while playing my Xbox OR any of the other compatible ways to simulcast 2 apps from TV and another source at once. • ease of set up • a lot of new features I didn't have on my 2019 Samsung smart TV • 3 HDMI ports • lots and lots of apps to use or stream on Cons- • Audio could be better - lacking depth, bass and an all around fullness to it? I plan on getting external speakers to help with this • dislike the remotes functionality though, I miss my old remote without thr streaming app buttons and my normal info button. But it's not the worst, just took some getting used to. • processor seems as slow as my last TV, it can seem a little bogged down at times • not the biggest fan of the home screen and the functionality of editing and arranging it how you want, it's a bit cumbersome. • I don't see much difference when trying to reduce the brightness. I do miss the ability to lower the backlight so it's easier on my eyes for nighttime viewing. It's still a nice TV and I'm still happy with my purchase.

I bought this Samsung tv for an extra bedroom but once I set it up, the picture quality was amazing so I moved it to my man gave. And of course my 4yr loves the way his Disney movies look on this TV so he probably uses it more than I do. I also use it for online gaming and the game mode is even better, In my opinion, this tv is very user friendly and the remote uses solar to recharge or you can plug it in with USB-C. It also has plenty of downloadable apps as well. I definitely recommend.

This television is one of the better electronics purchases I've made. The picture is clear and bright, the menu is easy to navigate and i can use my phone as a secondary remote since i have a samsung phone! Good value overall.

This is quite an upgrade from our old 43” TV! The overall image is fantastic for the price. With a little adjustment, colors are accurate. The horizontal viewing angle is pretty narrow, but that’s to be expected in this price range. Vertical viewing angle is very good. Sound quality from the TV speakers is honestly pretty bad. We are using the optical audio out into a DAC and vintage stereo receiver and vintage horn-loaded speakers. This setup sounds incredible, a noticeable improvement over the analog audio output on our old TV into the same setup. The menu system has some quirks. For instance, the auto-brightness setting is not in the Picture menu, where you would expect it to be. It is instead in a completely separate menu at the end of the list. Weird, but not a huge deal. I cannot comment on the smart features, as were are using the TV solely with connected devices and not built-in apps. Switching between inputs is easy and in most cases automatic. You can also set the TV to always launch the last used input device when turned on. Overall, I think this is a great TV for the price. It is perfect to use as a “dumb tv” as it boots right to your connected device and doesn’t throw obnoxious menus in your face. My only recommendation is that if you’re getting this, you should have a sound bar or other audio device you can hook up.

This has really good picture quality and surprisingly good sound for TV speakers. The smart features are great. We have SmartThings integration with Alexa so we can control it with one of our Alexa enabled devices, but also use the SmartThings app on our phones. Setup was very easy. Now we just need to mount it to the wall.

Love this TV! After struggling for years with our Vizios and trying to figure out if the problem was our internet or the streaming app, it clearly was the TV. Not one single issue with this one. Great picture, easy to use and great dealing with Best Buy. I will be replacing all the Vizios for this TV.

Perfect size; easy installation; great picture; plenty of streaming options. This television works seamlessly with my cable and with my Amazon Fire TV stick.

TV picture quality is awesome only reason for 4 stars is the REMOTE SUCKS. does everyone think that our hands are shrinking? Why is it so small? I keep hitting the wrong buttons driving me nuts. Going to have to find a remote to replace it that has larger buttons on it or just larger all around. Sound quality is debatable on TV. It’s fine if you use speakers, you have to really increase the volume a lot.

This purchase was an upgrade from the 12+ years ago 32" flat screen, dumb TV we had. Great picture, serious upgrade over our old TV. Not the top of the line picture available, but the seriously higher price for the top of the line picture is not worth the cost. This TV is a solid choice. The installation by best Buy's Geek Squad was a good decision ... the techs did a great job of mounting the TV; and were very accommodating in doing their job.

Great quality, excellent colors, sound is pretty good and the size is perfect for a small room if you want something big, but not too invasive looking. Bought it open box and haven't had any problem, excellent condition (keep in mind the picture might have low quality, but that's just my phone)
