I bought this TV in May 2019. Love the curved screen & the picture quality is so crisp & amazing! Fits nicely on the media stand in the family room corner. I’m so pleased with this TV & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a curved 55” screen.

On my first day I purchase this TV, the color of the picture sometimes become black and white only and it looks broken. I even have pictures of that. It happens 3-4 times in the first week, I have to turn it off and on again to make it display correctly

I like the idea of a curved TV. I Purchased a Samsung 49 inch TV 2 1/2 years ago. I love it. When I decided to move it into the bedroom I needed a larger one for the living room. This one checks all the boxes! Beautiful picture, easy to operate, excellent viewing angle! The volume could be a little louder. Perhaps in the future I will add a sound bar. I put this on a swinging wall bracket and it is great to be able to articulate the TV to the left or right, up or down, depending on which chair I’ve settled in! All in all, great value for the money. Best Buy scores another homerun!

I have 4 kids and they all love to play video games. This TV has a native 120 HZ panel with extremely low input lag - you can achieve full 120hz at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. This TV is also equipped with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) which cuts down on screen tearing and makes gaming buttery smooth. This is an AMD solution. You can also use this as a TV monitor. You can pair it up with a computer equipped with an AMD graphics card and use FreeSync also on your PC. Unfortunately VRR will not work with an Nvidia graphics card because it will only accept FreeSync through a display port (No a HDMI to display cable won’t work). This TV has a wide color gamet, and has a high contrast ratio (VA panel), which achieves great dark scenes for movies and shows. My only gripe with this TV is that you can get bombarded by ads on the home screen. Some people complain that viewing angles are terrible and you have to sit directly in front of it. Trust me, this is not th case. I watch movies with all my 4 kids and we all see the movie just fine. Good TV and I’m happy with the purchase Best Buy did a price match with Newegg and I got a great deal on this TV

When researching the multitude of TV options I became more and more upset. I really wanted to have an OLED TV but the percentage of legit negative reviews stopped me from buying one. This TV had the least negative reviews that I found. The curved screen allows you to watch TV from around the room without missing parts of it. The picture is amazing. It is HD so you can really see the difference in picture quality with movies that are filmed in HD. The sound quality is great too. I have only been using it for about 5 weeks, but I hope that I will have it for a long time.

The television is quite aesthetically appealing! The curved television adds another dimension of beauty to any room that it’s placed in. The picture quality is superb and remote control is unique. I love this television!

Decided to upgrade my 6 series, flat screen Samsung and am very glad I did! Picture and motion are good on my 6 series but the 8500 is unbelievably amazing! The colors, details and clarity is incredible. Sound is decent but decided to pair the 8500 with a NW700 sound bar. Looking forward to hosting more get togethers at my house after this upgrade! The first one I hosted after the installation of the new tv and sound bar was great and really made the living room feel like home during movie night.

I really wanted the new QLED TV's from Samsung but it was too expensive. So we settled for the next best thing, This has awesome picture quality, pictures and movies look so realistic. Animation colors are so vibrant its amazing! Don't take my word for it, just compare it to other TV's in the store and decide for yourself! Thanks for reading my review.

After we got the 2017 version of this tv we upgraded my parents to this 2018 version. Love the color and smart tv capabilities. We weren't sure about the curved screen at first but are very happy with it now.

I like the color and sound of the samsang 4k TV. The one thing to keep in mine with this tv is the glare during the daytime from windows. I was told by my salesman that sometimes this could be a problem.

Have had this TV for almost 2 years now and love how clear the picture is. Has great color. With the curved screen you can view it from anywhere in the room.

Was shopping for a 49-50" TV for a XMAS gift(for myself) . After looking at some of the features of the possible choices I decided on a 55" and a Samsung unit. After viewing the QLED ( and the price) I decided this unit suited my needs . GREAT PICTURE ,LOTS OF HDMI INPUTS (4=NICE FOR GAMING) AND LOVE THE CURVED ASPECT!! My wife and daughter were impressed how smart it was. You cannot go wrong with this TV!!!!

Coming from a 720p tv to this awesome 4K ultra hd plus 55” curved tv has been an amazing experience. The colors, the sound from the tv alone is remarkable. Playing video games is a whole different experience. The refresh rate is unbelievable, older movies are brought back to life with noticeable life changing details.

Nice clear picture. Colors are incredible. Easy to setup and to operate. Only issue was mounting holes on back did not line up with my wall bracket.

Decided to upgrade the flat JU6400 series I had in the living room with this 55” curved NU8500 in time for a Friendsgiving hosted at my house. Everyone was amazed at the quality, motion and color from this series. Friends and family enjoyed watching over 8 hours straight of movies! A first at my house! I liked the curved screen as everyone in the room was able to see the television comfortably without having to hang their heads in an awkward position like the last flat screen tv that is now in my bedroom (also a plus). Sound from the NU8500 is nice but I coupled it with a Samsung NW700 soundbar and absolutely love the intense sound and picture from my new devices! Looking forward to adding on to the sound for surround sound effects. Loving the product so far without issues!

Excellent picture quality and clarity vivid colors and better depth perception with curved screen

I've had a 55' Samsung curved tv before 9500 series but by mistake I broke it, couldn't afford to buy another one. Now I saved and waited for a good deal and let me tell you this tv is one of the best if not the money, curved is the way to go it immerses you like your there the colors are vivid. I would recommend it for your home theater.

First newer series tv I bought and it is very smooth! The smart tv work great and connects easily to the wifi and phones. The sound is also very decent for having such a thin profile. The sleek low profile of the edges is just as great as the finish on the material. The weight of the tv also helps it a lot from easily falling over. 10/10 would buy again but bigger.
