I have been using this TV for a year now and I have never had any issues. It gives the best color quality and the picture is crisp and sharp. Perfect for streaming 4K videos. The only thing samsung can improve on is there software. But still they make the best TVs in the market. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Purchased this for $499 on sale before SB51. I had to replace a 50" Hitachi Plasma (also purchased from BestBuy) that finally went after thousands of hours of operation. I was a bit concerned that the native refresh rate was only 60Hz but the MotionRate 120 that Samsung uses is great for live action. I have a Vizio 60" that is native 120Hz and the progressive picture is much better on this unit. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a TV in this size. Also, I was told that the 6290 series is identical to the 6300 series in terms of the panel. I am not sure why the 6300 series is more expensive but if you can get a 6290 series, your won't regret it.

It took me 2 returns and 3 purchases to find the Samsung tv that was for me. We first bought a 50" Samsung LED 1080p (forgot the series) on sale and it was great. Great picture, great quality, but it wasn't the right size. So we exchanged it for a 58" samsung 1080p led (holiday series) and it was so junky. The refresh rate was slow. I didn't know what it was beforehand but it didn't take me long to figure it out. Then the screen had a lot of color bleeding. So we decided to take it back and switch back to the 50". Coincidentally, this 55" 4k Samsung was on sale for $500. A $72 difference. I was hesitant to make the switch to 4k but this is a great tv since it's one of the first 4k series.

I bagged this 4K TV at an excellent price earlier this year. I was lucky to get a thanks giving deal on the TV in the month of February all thanks to Best Buy. It is an amazing 4K TV for the price, the sound & movie quality is truly amazing true to the eye. Truly recommend purchasing this 4K TV

Great color and picture. Easy technology. Wish remote was easier to press but the Samsung TV Plus feature is excellent.

I love Samsung tvs/products. I read a ton of reviews about several different TVs and this one seemed to be the best one for the price range. The size is perfect. It takes some time to figure out your color/contrast preferences but it's a very clear picture. I was worried about the remote being so simple, but I actually love it! Less buttons actually make it easier to use. You don't even have to look at the remote to navigate through stuff. Navigating through apps is much easier on the TV compared to my last samsung tv. The only complaint is it doesnt swivel so I can't turn it easily if I need to. I would definitely recommend this TV!

I'd gone into BB to buy a 1080p TV, this one was on sale in the same price range with better technology, so, I got it instead. Giving it four stars because on some programs/ movies, the 4K Ultra HD makes them look... too real. Like some of the magic in the cinematography of TV/ movies is lost. I have to adjust the screen settings to get the proper look back. Not Samsung's fault, all of these UHD TV's look like this. On the flip side, some images look stunning! Especially nature shows and documentaries. Older shows and movies look great, too. Sound is pretty good all by itself without a sound bar. Easy to set up, I was actually able to lift it by myself fairly easily. That said, I'd buy it again. Be sure to buy a 4K UHD Blu-ray or DVD player to pair, otherwise, the movies you play will look like regular 1080p HD. The TV doesn't upscale the discs on its own.

I searched for months for a good 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, and finally purchased one online only to have it arrive with a shattered screen where a forklift pronged it. So, I turned my attention to home town offers where I found this 55" at Best Buy. Well, I love this TV. It has everything I hoped for: Great sound, crisp, clear picture, excellent streaming abilities, voice commands, easy to get to setting adjustments. On top of this, Best Buy delivery team had it in my living room within a day or so. All of these positives coupled with my Best Buy purchase offer, and I couldn't be more pleased! I recommend this 55" Samsung

I like the quality and everything slick design, great remote. but one thing i hate is how i can't install apps on the smart tv because it says it is updating. upon google search it seems like something is blocked on my router and other ppl experience this too. it semes like it can be fixed but why does this make me do this? WHY CAN"T YOU WORK just out of the box?

I got this tv on sale at 699. The only difference between the 6290 and the 6300 from my research is that the 6290 has no bluetooth connectivity. The colors are nice on this tv. The screen is bright. I can't see any real motion blur. For the average consumer this tv is a great deal! Has all the features you could need, but not an absurd price for this size tv.

The set up actually shows you with step by step video what to plug in to where. So easy set up in a few minutes. Crisp picture and just and awsome smart TV. Very pleased....

Great picture and audio quality. Love that I can stream movies and television from online. Easy to use and wonderful to watch HD movies on. Highly recommend this tv!

The picture is really good when watching straight on. As the angle increases, it looks washed out compared to the HDTV that it replaced. The streaming channels are easy to use but the number of "channels" seems limited - of course I'm used to a Roku that works great with this TV. The 4K videos from youtube look fantastic. The one problem is that it seems to occasionally get confused when first turned on along with the cable box. The audio plays without a picture. I can clear it by turning the TV and the cable box off and then first turning the cable on and letting it complete it's startup and then turning on the TV. This has only happened twice in over a month. I purchased it online and then picked it up at a store. That process all worked great. They were ready when I got there and helped load it in my car.

Television is hooked up to Onkyo TXSR353, Bose speakers, Samsung Blu Ray, and cable box and they all work well together. Set-up was easy and the picture is great. Had it for several months.

Extremely easy to set up. Excellent picture..... occasionally looks almost 3D. Downside......needs more HDMI ports. Overall, very happy with the purchase for the price.

This TV was very easy to set up along with the sound system I bought along with it. The picture is fantastic. The only 2 problems I had are: I. The TV remote turns the sound system on as well as the TV> However the TV remote only turns the TV off. I have to use the Sound remote to turn off the sound. I can live with this. II. There could be a little more information on trouble shooting online. I had the Wi Fi connection disconnect and tried several things from online blogs to fix the problem. Finally I saw a fix that worked. It is so simple that I never thought of it. The TV is like a computer, when you have a problem disconnect the TV from it's power source and wait a minute and plug it in. How simple is that?

We were looking to upgrade our TV and were looking at the 4k options. 55" was our target size and Samsung was our preferred brand . The model we bought (6290) had all the features of the 6300 but minus one HDMI port and was $300 cheaper. The color has been outstanding, haven't had any 4k programing to test that out et but still the picture is sharp. It has thin bezel on the outside which gives a theater feel when watching a movie. We are extremely happy with the Samsung brand. My only complaint is that I wish it had front facing speakers.

This tv has a very clear picture. It's ease of use is great. The color and clarity is amazing. Very nice TV set that I would recommend to others

Read the review guidelines so I will not go into how wonderful the store staff and Geek Squad professionals are! Moving on to the product, it is smart, beautiful and a good companion. Have waited a long time to replace one of the early Sony HD tube TV's (14 years) and while looking at various vendors for the new tech. smart TV's now narrowed the short list to my Samsung. I use other Samsung products and have not been disappointed with the quality and longevity of use. I also value the association between the manufacturer and Best Buy.
