I got this TV on sale, and couldn't believe one can now get a decent 4K for 500.00. I took the advice of the salespeople, who recommended either the Samsung or Hisense. It's a smart 4K, so with a few clicks you're on Netflix, your antenna, cable, etc. The YouTube 4K channel is where you're going to see what this TV is capable of. The 4K nature photography is just breathtaking. The smart remote provided is intuitive and easy to use. I feel fairly well future-proofed, and overall this seems a quality TV, especially for its low price.

I purchased this TV because I wanted 4K, but did not want to break the bank. The picture quality is fantastic although I do not view it from side angles which I hear can cause the picture to dull. I had a couple of problems switching from the smart TV back to my original input, but overall it’s a great TV.

I have had this 55' Samsung for a little over 5 months now. It streams all of my Apps flawlessly and the sound is perfect. While the picture isn't the best compared to higher end TV's, it's slightly above average in my opinion. My overall all opinion is this: Great TV at and affordable price!

This TV has a sharp colorful picture. Easily change inputs. Set up was a breeze. I may replace another tv with this one soon.

I am a sixty year old woman and wanted a television that was lightweight enough for me to move alone and that was my reason for walking into Best Buy. This tv fit the bill but went way beyond! I loaded it and set it up alone. I admit to not being impressed with the picture quality until my boyfriend changed the brightness from "Energysaver" to "Natural". I feel firmly in love with this television. Picture quality is great and its Smart features make my tv viewing choices almost endless!

Pros: Big, Slim edges, 4k, HDR, Smart TV, Awesome Picture when in 4k, Not too much $$$ Cons: Sometimes I am not sure if the screen is on or off because of the "local dimming", I am not even sure that it has local dimming but it is almost pure black when it is on 'idle'. You must go to the eco setting when you first get the TV because it will dim itself to save energy...I did not know that. Had to do research. I would have like shortcut keys on the remote (i.e. Neflix button, YouTube button, etc.)

So glad I upgraded. Picture quality is amazing. Easy set up too. Got it on sale for a steal, which makes it even better!

Currently own a 55"LG and were adding another TV. The Samsungs picture is such an improvement over the LG and the set up was quick and easy. A few minutes on the picture and sound settings and it was good to go! Remote is easy to use and I would recommend getting a soundbar as the speakers in the TV don't do the picture justice.

Great price, easy to set up and connect to our Wireless internet. high quality pistuire. I would recommend to others!

Purchased this television shortly after checking out the (2017) model at Costco. While price-checking & considering my options, I found this tv at Best Buy for $200 less than the 2017 model. After considering the minor technical variances btwn the 2 models & more importantly, our ability to identify them while watching the nightly news in bed, I opted to take the savings & couldn't be happier with my decision. Excellent tv, especially for the price!! Thank you Best Buy!!

I love this 55 inch Samsung smart TV. The screen is so detailed and crystal clear, it almost looks like the screen and actors are going to step out into your living room. It's so easy to setup either wirelessly or connected to the internet modem. I was pleasantly surprised how light weight the TV is. The built-in speakers are wonderful and very powerful. We don't even need a sound bar. Great, high quality TV.

Great tv picture and sound. Easy to navigate between netflix, Amazon prime, and cable. Price was very good too.

Upgraded from the older non 4ktv. Purchased wih a ps4 pro. Great combo. Got it on sale. Well worth the price.

This was my first Smart TV and was a little nervous that with my lack of intelligence that I would get frustrated trying to navigate the Smart feature of the Samsung. I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with how easy it is to use. The sound and picture is great and have found that my sound bar that I hooked up doesn't get used nearly as much with this TV due to the quality of the sound from the TV by itself does very well for basic television shows.

I love this television. It has a super great clear picture, and it is smart with 4K, or UHD. I t has capacity for surround sound, but I had a little difficulty getting it hooked up correctly. My older Marantz surround receiver does not have a HDMI. However, a light went off in my head, and I noticed that both the Marantz and the Samsung television had digital optical. I bought a separate optical cable and Voila! It worked, and sounds fantastic.

Was initially captivated by the price and size of this set. However once home and installed (done by myself in about 6 minutes) the picture, ease of use and functionality of this set simply amazed me. Instantly synchronized with my phone, my Samsung sound bar and my LG Blu Ray player all on it's own. I thought for sure that I would use my Sony 42" until the day it croaked but now I'm replacing all of the sets in my home with Samsung sets.

After much research, we decided on the Samsung and have not been disappointed! Setup was easy and quick, learning to navigate was relatively painless (although the magic remote is a small learning curve), and the quality is excellent! The picture and size were a great step up to our first "adult" TV from our previous box TVs while still playing N64 and other platforms with a minimal amount of pixelation. Overall, a great buy!

Out of the box, the tv wasn't too bad. Definitely not a high end set, and I don't think I'd pay the full price (around $800 for the 55" model) however at the $500 price on sale, it is an incredible deal! After calibrating the picture, I've become more impressed - good brightness and color. As I watch this more at night, out of the box it wasn't too impressive. Using a low black light in game mode (level 4) or HDR mode at 15 level backlight, among other settings and it vastly improved. Motion blur is ok, particularly at the $500 range but not stellar. Very solid set.

Upgraded from a 48" to this one, fits are living room great and has great picture. This model is a lot lighter than our older model and also has great features and many apps.
