Great picture !! Great price!! Colors seem to come a live. Used for gaming only.

After my last TV that I had for over 9 years I decided to get a new TV. I'm really happy with this purchase. It's extremely light and thin. Easy set up and the picture is crisp and clear and i loke the smart remote i can even turn up my stereo with the remote. Considering what I paid for the TV I'm amazed at the quality. Samsung does well with its product line and best buy was very helpful.

I have enjoyed this tv. Any issues I read have been fixed as there is an update that you have to do as soon as you turn the television on. Great picture quality! You do have to point the remote directly at the television, but if you have a cable remote, you should be able to turn on/off and control tv channels thru that. Definitely would recommend! Great picture and price!

Went out looking for a new TV and came home with this. Way more TV than I need. Wish it had a paper readable manual that I could study. Not happy about having to go search online for information on how to change stations and adjust the focus if I can find any information on this at all. Samsung is no help. . Its way too much TV for me. I should have shopped around more. My mistake.

I love this TV. It has the clearest picture of any that I have ever owned. I have not had any problems at all. It gets great free Ota channels with a good antenna. It comes with a slim remote without any numbers on it. If you buy this for someone that likes a remote with numbers on it, make sure to buy a quality universal remote.

The picture quality is amazing as is the sound quality. The apps are really easy to navigate through. The hdmi ports can be renamed which I know is somthing minor but it's nice to know which is a game system and which is the TV. I also love that you have options to change the image to certain settings like Gamer which prevents lag if you have a system that isn't set up for 4k.

We needed a larger TV for our Family room for every day use. This fit the bill and for the price there is nothing that can get close to it. The kids show look amazing. wife is happy watching her stuff too. Movies will look ok as well, but don't expect much as this is an entry tv with 60Hz refresh rate. sports mode makes football games look amazing. this is a very nice tv for every day use.

So far I'm pretty happy with the tv. Several of the reviews I read talked about warranty issues after Best Buys 15 day return window had closed. On the 15th day I decided it was worth keeping. As for the set, for the most part I'm pretty happy with the picture. In particular, the major networks night time broadcasts seem to be of a high quality. The picture is usually quite good. When the picture isn't that good, I'm not sure it's the tv's fault. I suspect there's a lot of signal compression and other things being done that hurt what you see. Unfortunately, some of that's the nature of cable. Maybe the set doesn't upscale low definition content as well as another more expensive set might. I'm not sure there's a way to know if it's the set or the content. When streaming thru a 4k capable Roku. The picture is really good. I've been disappointed with HDR because it seems to darken the entire picture. A little too dark for me. Still a very good picture but seems a bit muted. Maybe the settings can be tweaked. Regardless, there's almost no HDR content that I could find so it isn't much of an issue. One of Amazon Video's in house productions is streamed in 4k with HDR. So, in general, I'm pretty happy. I worry about the stability of the electronics over time but for what I paid, $499 on sale, I though it was worth a shot. The funny thing about reviews is that I read many negative reviews of much more expensive televisions. The story is sometimes the same, you can spend a lot more money and yet still have problems with the electronics and getting satisfaction from the manufacturers. One last note, the optimal viewing angle is somewhat narrow. The further off-center you sit, the more muted the picture. It is still more than acceptable but it isn't as good as head on. I believe this is an issue with LED tvs in general though some might be better than others.

Great picture and good size for my Living Room. The only thing I would rate it down on is I wish it had a little richer, fuller sound.

I got this samsung model 6290 over the 7000 series because the Consumer reports stated that the motion blur reduction was better on this model. Which is important on a 55" the 50" compresses the image a little so motion blur can be less noticable but the 55"shows everything. This set looks great once I used the Consumer reports suggested settings as a STARTING point and then dialed it in to my prefferance. This is available on most new models of tv if you search for it. Also it had a great price because it was last years model , which in my opinion does not make it a bad set. As a matter of fact this model performed better that the new model year. This is the fourth Samsung I have owned ,3 are still working great and the first one ( 10 years old ) still works but has screen issues.

We only had a vague idea for what we wanted and we had a definite price range with just a modest budget. This TV managed to give us everything we were looking for and more and came in under budget. The picture is great, the smart features are amazingly fast and smooth, we have all the connection slots we need. Definitely would recommend and buy again.

After shopping around for a TV of high quality and all of the features that this one has, it was a perfect choice-- Smart TV is the BEST - Picture quality is great- the TV audio is ok, Im definitely going to be getting a sound bar or something to enhance the sound. Not that it is bad, I'm just used to surround sound quality. GREAT TV for the money!!

This Samsung 4K TV exceeded my expectations.The image is very sharp, detailed, and it has outstanding color replication. It is easy to set up, easy to use. The remote takes a little training but is great once you get the hang of it. Samsung is definitely the premier TV at this time. It is a great replacement for just about any other TV out there.

It's a reasonable good buy for a 55inches 4k TV for your bucks. The model is old and id is less attractive comparing to its latest series. However, for the price of $650, I could not complain

Awesome picture. Very easy to set up. Did it alone and in only about 10 minutes. Still trying to figure out the remote. But it is really small and different. My only complaint is that it isn't compatible with my new TiVo bolt. To get the channels to come up I have to unplug the tv and plug it back in to reset it every time I want to use it otherwise it says hdmi not supported. Very annoying. Not sure how to fix it. Tried updating the tv software but nothing was available.

This TV was on sale when I bought it. I had a rough idea of the size I wanted and this was perfect for a blank wall in my bedroom. I love the smart features on it, including the ability to stream Netflix and Hulu. You can also purchase movies and other series through some apps that are built in. Ability to surf internet without attaching computer.

This is our first Smart television and I was very pleased with how easy it is to navigate through the selections of Netflix, Hulu, etc. and back to the cable box. I am VERY technically challenged and was surprised at how easy it was to learn to operate thanks to the very helpful and patient Geek Squad delivery team! Very sharp picture and quality sound.
