Price was definitely right for a 4K panel WITH HDR support! After mild calibration with a test disc as well as 4K test patterns avail on web, I’m very pleased with with picture. 4K FireTV and DirecTV 4K upgrade coming soon. Couple nits I have are the matte screen, which doesn’t help with glare during the daytime. I have a bank of high transom windows that are unfortunately behind the viewer. Second nit is the “Dark Titanium” stand. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Easily remedied by by using black automotive vinyl window trim tape.

I bought the 4K ultra TV to replace my over 10 years old flatscreen in the family room. I decided to make the purchase at Best Buy because I could buy online and pickup in the store. Other retailers had the TV for the same price but it would have been shipped with the shipping costs, ECT. The TV is definitely a great value for the price, I think it’s only one model behind the most current model. It is a smart tv that comes with the internet and apps, one click for Netflix or Hulu. The picture is crisp. I’m pleased so far.

So heres the deal, this TV is good at the 498$ price point I got it at on Black Friday. Obviously with holiday TVS and this series (Series 6) there is a few trade offs, plastic build, the picture quality refresh rate. Its crisp and bright but suffers from poor software smoothing due to the low refresh rate. It works fine for me as a 20 year old and not needing anything super perfect but if you're in the market for a high end Samsung go with the QLED or series 9 and up as for 2017+

We bought this on black friday to upgrade our existing tv, for the price of less than $500 you wouldn’t expect much, but we were surprised with all the features that it comes with it. Picture quality is great and can compare with the expensive ones. Samsung is a trusted brand with tv’s and our 720p tv has lasted us for more than 7 years, so 8 expect this one to last a long time. Totally satisfied with the purchase

Bought during the black Friday sales great tv. Sound is surprisingly good since my other Samsung I have in my living room doesn’t have good sound at all. Very impressed especially with the $499 price tag it had. There was another model that has the exact same specs but comes with a smart remote for $100 more. I had no reason to go with that one and really don’t know why you would.

Great picture quality. Smart TV functions wonderfully. I bought the Samsung knowing it would work with my emby home server to stream movies and it delivers. Only gripe would be the small amount of storage included to add apps from the app store. You can't remove the ones they pre-install. Https websites can be tricky on the browser. Wife cant look at Pinterest on the big screen

We have been looking at upgrading our tv for a while and after a lot of shopping around we decided on this particular Samsung. We LOVE it! Having a smart tv with Netflix etc all so easy to access is so convenient and the picture quality is amazing. So happy we decided to purchase this but I wish we had done it sooner.

The main difference between the MU6290 and MU6300 is only that the MU6290 does NOT come with Bluetooth and does NOT come with the upgraded remote. The picture is incredible- just a little fiddling to get the options to suit your eyes. Viewing angle starts to degrade around 45 degrees or so. Glare reflection is average. The sound on both models sounds like it’s coming though a cardboard tube. Which will lead you to try and connect to a stereo or sound bar- BUT the only audio-out is digital audio, of which the TV remote volume control is no use. You’ll need the stereo or sound bar to have a remote to control the volume, or a universal remote to control everything. This is a major downside to both model TVs. There is no RCA or 3.5mm audio-out that is controlled by the TV volume. So for $500, it’s a solid TV. We opted for a Bose sound bar with its own universal remote to solve the audio quality and volume control issues (the Bose control does the TV, cable box, DVD, and audio).

So far I'm very pleased with this tv, Picture is great considering the price, crisp and good color, I think the picture might be better than my 65' 8000 series... it performs better on dark or black content. It was easy to setup and asseble, I just wish it came with a updated remote, but that's not a big deal

At the time this TV was priced just right. The jump from this TV to the cheapest true "HDR" was significant. Despite not having true HDR, the picture is great. Dont be fooled by the Trademarked "HDR" and "Tru-Motion 120". It is not real HDR and the actual refresh rate is 60hz, as the "true-motion" is just a branding thing. These types of tricks are commonplace with TVs. Dont let that distract from the fact that this TV has a great looking picture, audio optical out, HDMI ports, and the Samsung Smart TV platform, which is more reliable than other major brands that I have used. Drawbacks? No Audio Out Aux jack for 3.5mm headphones. Easy to work around but my stereo at the time didn't have any other audio input options. If I had the budget, i would have gotten an upgraded model, but at the time this TV was originally $750 on sale for $500, and the upgraded model would have set me back $800.

We are loving this TV. We bought it during black Friday but honestly itbis so worth the money even during normal sale. This TV is a smart TV. Meaning it has the apps to cast or play directly built in. If you are looking to cut your cable plan, this is definitely a TV you should get. My brother and I use YouTube TV on it. His YouTube account is also on there. We have our Netflix account as well. But even aside from that, if a friend or I wanted to use my own YouTube account, it is as simple as selecting the TV to cast to. We have the Google Chrome 4k on there as well, mostly to use with our google home mini, but it works great without that! The TV has an amazing response time compared to our old TV and the picture is very crisp and clear. We can edit the brightness and contrast setting if we needed to for those videos games with low light setting. Probably one of the easiest set ups ever too.

Bought this set on Black Friday as a gift for a friend. Setup only took a few minutes and the prompts were quick and easy to understand. Once the cable box and console were ready to go we started streaming some content over Netflix and watched a Blu ray movie and both were crystal clear and looked great. Did not have any access on 4k content but 1080 looked just as good on a native 1080 set.

The picture is very good (4K) and great sound Quality. Easy setup! The Remote is not a Bluetooth one, but no problems at all. The first TV I got had a deep scratch on screen. BestBuy switched it for a new one with no problem! I recommend both, the TV and store!
