This tv replaced an older 1080p Samsung. Why did I wait so long? The smart part of the tv is amazing compared to my old slow smart tv. There is no reason to use a Roku or Fire stick. It works just as fast. Love how you can actually use the remote that comes with the tv. You don’t need to use the one for your cable box anymore. Picture is really nice. Love this TV!!

Every TV I have purchased for my home has been a Samsung. I have never had any issues with any of them. This TV has a great picture, enhanced color, it truly feels like you are there!!! I have seen negative reviews because of the advertisements, all you need to do on the initial setup is, don't check the boxes for advertisements before agreeing to their terms. It looks a little deceiving but if you select just the voice terms and leave the other boxes unchecked, you will not be bothered by advertisements. Awesome TV, Highly Recommend!!!

My plasma finally went out so I search for a couple of weeks for a new tv online and read a lot of reviews. So I decided to get this one and in my price range. It is truly an awesome flat screen and took sometime getting use too considering all the color and brightness and true HD and 4K.

Was looking to upgrade my basement tv. Purchased a Samsung HD 4K tv last year and found the latest model this year being the 700 series.
For the price it’s a great TV. Not the best but not the worse. Definitely above avaerage. Great picture quality and user friendly.

If you can get this on sale I think it is a good entry to mid level 4K hdr tv. It’s obviosuly not top tier but it does the job. Nice picture, easy setup, it looks good. I love how it automatically detects my Xbox one and lets me control it with the tv remote. No need to get out the Xbox controller if you’re just watching Netflix for example. Turns on fast which I like and the voice control for switch channels and inputs is nice

Read a lot of reviews on Consumer Reports, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. and then went to Portland, OR Best Buy to look at the models on display. Chose this model because it was moderately priced (under $1000) but still got decent reviews and looked pretty good considering it was $2,000- $4,000 cheaper than the ones that looked very good. Our main complaint was that the "default" options the unit comes set to did NOT give us the best picture quality for watching outdoor scenes - quite frankly everything looked like the old style "kineoscope" or early 60's "videotaped" TV series - weird. We played around with the options and eventually came to realize the "Movie" option did a "smoothing" to the picture so the hurky-jerky movements went away and the picture looked good. (For you old timers out there, the default look was as if you had set the CONTRAST to HIGH.) The secondary problem, which Consumer Reports had warned was a problem with MOST of the lower priced HDTV's was that motion could look strange - and this is true with this unit, too. But, since we went in expecting that, we aren't too distressed by it. Not much you can do about that. The third complaint would be that the interface on the remote is kind of weird; and there is no manual with the TV or online with the manufacturer, either. Plan on playing around with it to be able to use. Also, the sound defaults to "Bitstream" and a "X milliseconds delay". Plan on going in and changing that to "PCM" and "0 delay" under "Expert Settings" under the all encompassing "Sound" "tab". Be SURE you get into SETUP and decide if you want the unit to be listening to what you say to it - it does have that option and it DEFAULTS to that. We decided there was enough racket in our house we didn't want the TV trying to interpet that as directions, so we turned it OFF. For $1000 it is a great entry level HDTV, but, has its own set of issues. (Not part of this particular TV review in particular, but, large HDTVs in general: if you plan on transporting an HDTV or other large screen TV, they want it transported in an UPRIGHT position; we drove our pickup truck over thinking we'd simply lay it flat and off we go. The clerks said no dice, you can't do that, but, they helped us get it onto the truck (in an upright position, of course) and then jumped off the truck and WE had to lay it on its side as they walked away pretending they didn't see what we did. :-) We propped it carefully with blankets and other padding and drove the "slow" gentle road home. Arrived just fine - but, be warned, you might want it delivered and you might also want them to set it up for you. Set up is awkward if you are putting it on the pedestal it comes with - you need to lay it flat on a surface like a table at one point with the pedestal hanging off the side - with a blanket under the TV - so you can attach the pedestal - doesn't work properly if you put it on the floor. The directions that come with the TV are pretty poor - make sure you understand how to arrange the TV as you assemble and you'll be ok. This is a two person job because it is large and awkward. Would be a 2 person job to put it up on the wall, as well.)

Purchased this 4K TV for my living room a few months back. The picture quality, size, HDR, and Smart TV capabilities are great. Samsung's Smart Hub is really cool too. They have a good amount of apps. While it isn't has expanded as Roku's, Samsung's solution is great for the average consumer. I would recommend.

This tv has a great picture. I chose between this tv and a Sony because they had the best pictures. I think the Samsung is a great quality tv and have had good look out of other Samsung Tv’s in the past. The remote is great to use also. It is easy to use and can be programmed to use with everything.

At first, it appeared not to be a 4K tv because of the resolution, but after dew adjustment and testing out 4K videos, I was impressed. Besides, I’ve never used a Samsung product. This blew my mind away in a good way. Crystal clear. The sharpness, the color blend are awesome. Also, I love the remote, so slick. It’s really fast and requires high speed connection. I’m glad I have that. The only down side of it is, playing HD videos makes it look wack and because it’s big, you won’t really enjoy it as much. Unless the HD is from 1080p and above.

Our Old tv blew up while we were watching it. The next day we went into Best Buy and looked at tvs. We were going to buy a 4K curved tv but Best Buy didn't have one in stock and we didn't want to wait a week to get a tv. We came upon this tv and this one had all the features of the curved one and was in stock. The tv was easy to set up, the Samsung remote can be used for all your devices (we use blu-ray player and Roku), and there are a number of apps on the tv. Picture is great and voice command is a nice feature. The only issue I have had with the tv is the volume. Sometimes the volume does not work well. I go back to a factory reset and the volume works fine again. The volume is the only complaint I have about this tv.

I bought this TV after doing much research on TV's, and I settled on this 7000 series model becasue of the features and specifically the One Remote. The quality of picture is really good and the setup was very intuitive. The drawback on this TV is the One Remote, which was a painful process to try and setup. The remote is not capable of running my cable box, which greatly reduces its' usefulness. After talking with Samsung support for almost an hour, they were unable to help me set up the remote and cable box, so I had to resort to using my Bose remote to run all of my components, which is what I was trying to avoid by purchasing this model. I probably would have gone with a different model without the One Remote.

Decided on this tv because the picture looked good in the store. Got to setup and the picture still looked good. Sometimes it seems like the TVs picture looks better in the store then when u get home but not in this case. Setup was easy. The hardest part was getting it out of the box. Not much to grab ahold of the pull it out of the box. Was not sure about the grey trim around the screen. But after watching tv on it seems like grey blends into the wall and look like a floating screen.

At first, this tv didn't get off to a good start. Setup was easy, however out of the box the tv couldn't stay connected to wifi. Tried using an amazon firestick and it had no problem staying connected even though it was behind the tv and the router is located in front down in the basement. However I gave it a shot and tried updating the tv. That was a problem because it couldn't stay connected long enough to download the update. So, off to the samsung site to find the firmware update, download it, transfer to a memory stick then update the TV. Happily things improved and it stays connected now. I'd imagine for some people this would be too much and it would get returned if they were to run into wifi issues. I've owned it for a few weeks and there's been I believe 3 updates. Haven't seen what the updates improve other than the initial wifi improvement, but it's good to see they're working to improve things.
The default settings really weren't good, especially for lower res tv shows. Made things look like an odd 70's soap opera. Messed around with some of the picture settings turning off some features and now it's passable for low res, and still fine for 1080 stations.
I was a little concerned with some of the other reviews regarding the remote, but I think it rocks. Very intuitive, and for normal use is pretty quick. I especially like the feature where it eventually learns what your favorite stations are so that when you press and hold up or down on the channel change paddle, the navigation display gives those favorites more prominence. Well thought out overall. Getting to some settings takes a little more navigation, but once set up I don't tend to go there much. I think they could have kept dedicated number buttons to enter channels since the method they provided sucks, but I find I can live without it or just talk to the remote.
So overall, it's a keeper. Great picture, 4K videos look cool, apps work good with the exception of google play which seems to have the most issues, and the built in sound while not theatre quality is sufficient.
