I love my new Samsung television. The size is perfect and the color is great. Good choice.

Was looking for a 4K TV with HDR and this one is perfect! Love the design of the TV as well.

I know I waited too long to buy a 4K TV, but wanted to wait until there was enough 4K material in the market to really enjoy the TV (before it became an outdated model). I think it is a good size TV, for a medium sized room. I enjoy very much the Apps included, watching 4K videos from YouTube, to stream video from other devices in the network, listening to my favorite shows with my Bluetooth earphones paired with the TV, and the external inputs box that helps keeping cables organized. Great Buy! I just don't like how some high speed videos will look a bit pixelated, I expected a better performance on this regard.

Downside of buying a Samsung is anyone with a Samsung phone and is connected to your WiFi can remote control your tv. Can be super annoying as kids can be kids sometimes.

We purchased this as our first smart TV to replace our aging Panasonic 50" Plasma TV which I mounted easily on my bedroom wall without requiring any additional clearance space between my dresser and the ceiling which was a major concern. I can't begin to emphasize how drastically improved the quality, clarity, depth, definition, viewing angles and hindrance to sun glare have increased compared to our trusty old Plasma TV. The ONE CONNECT component was effortlessly installed in my closet through the wall, thus eliminating extra cable clutter behind this glorious TV compared to our old unit. The SMART TV features are intuitive and delightful as my wife is now hooked on NETFLIX. I will say, I do not favor the remote control as it is so sleek and does not agree with my autonomous fingers but, I have reprogrammed the FIOS remote to alleviate this problem. WE LOVE THIS TV and have no regrets especially since it was on sale.

This TV is fantastic! It only took about 10 minutes to set up and get programmed with my AT&T Uverse. The picture mode options and sound mode options are great. The voice remote is also simple to use. The picture quality is even better than my two year old 4K Samsung that I paid $1599 for. Great value and great bargain at $897.

I upgraded from a 7 year old Samsung 46" model to the new 800 series 55". Positives: Love how the integration of sources and apps has evolved. Plus the remote is excellent - intuitive, simple, and I haven't lost it once (knock on wood). The picture when provided a good stream is awesome. Couple negatives: I read a few reviewers who complained about their TV turning off on them. Well, I occasionally get a similar behavior. It "appears" to shut off, but it really is in this state where the screen is black and the TV is still powered on. At first I thought it only happened at the end of a show on Sling, but I have seen the same thing from other sources. Doesn't happen too often, but I am concerned because the support for this issue is apparently quite weak. We got the free month of Sling with the TV. For the most part, it is pretty good, but feeds from broadcast stations (CBS, NBC) have horrible grainy resolution. Not a Samsung complaint. Likely a Sling thing, but not 100% sure yet. We might dump Sling because of this. Besides these negatives, the TV has been great. I dropped to 4 stars because of these issues.

Am extremely happy with this 4K TV. The 4k Prime movie quality is amazing....Upconversion of DVD's and Blu-Rays is excellent.....remote took a little getting used to but is fine & easy to use. Used the optical cable and overall setup was very easy. Great purchase.

The TV is very thin and looks great. This TV was easy to install on the swivel base. The remote control is user friendly and easy to read. The color is vibrant and natural and the picture clarity can't be beat. I saw a piece of lint sticking out from an anchor's suit.

Great picture, 4k when available is excellent. No issues with viewing from the side.

Great picture quality. I am using this with a Samsung sound bar that is several years old but it does have Great sound on its own. I don't have cable and rely on streaming from Netflix, Hulu, etc. and the apps are super quick compared to my previous Samsung smart tv purchased in about 2012. Turns on and off really fast. Overall A plus. But I'm never really disappointed with Samsung quality.

I bought the TV about a month ago. It has a great picture and was easy to set-up.

I purchased this TV so I can game in 4K. I wasn’t really expecting the television screen settings to be much better than the 6290 series but man was I impressed! This television has an excellent design as well as an exceptional sound system that sounds very crisp! I would most definitely recommend this television to anyone that is looking for a great TV for a relatively low price!

I was down to a Sony XBR900, Samsung MU7000 and the MU6300 as a replacement for a Sony Bravia 46". The salesman at my local BB was extremely helpful in guiding me toward this particular unit, the MU8000. All I can say is I have ZERO regrets. As I'm a cord cutter, my primary use for this set is Netflix, Hulu, other streaming and gaming. This set fills that role nicely with a FANTASTIC picture at this price point, or higher. Gaming performance is exceptional with no noticeable input lag. Picture quality is superb from both 1080P and 4K sources. This includes Blu Ray playing through an Xbox One. Features and functionality are great as well. The remote is so simple looking yet does more than you can imagine, including acting as ar emote for my Apple TV and my Xbox. No complaints on this unit. Would recommend and buy again in a heartbeat.
