I bought this after my last TV, a 42" Sharp, finally started developing problems. I had it delivered due to the fact that I did not have a large enough vehicle available to pick it up myself. Delivery was flawless, and I set up the TV with ease, noticing no problems at all. The following day, however, I did notice that there was now a thin vertical line toward the right side of the screen. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps suggested by Samsung, to no avail. I decided to call the nearest store to inquire about my options, and they were a tremendous help. They not only processed the return, but they also set up the delivery of the replacement, at no charge. The new one arrived, and it is flawless. A perfect picture! Set up was very easy, and I have absolutely no complaints. One thing I will mention is that you should make sure that, before you buy, check the measurements of the stand you plan to place this on, if you aren't wall mounting, of course. The stand I have measures 45" across, which is more than enough room for this TV, which measures at just over 48" across. The stand has two options in which you can place the legs a bit further toward the middle if need be, or further out if you have the space on the surface on which the TV sits.

Replaced a 10yr old Samsung Plasma with this one. My Plasma had an awesome picture but the clarity of this TV is no comparison. It has a very sharp and crisp picture. Colors are amazing. Samsung is known for their rich colors and this one meets all expectations. Very happy with this purchase.

So far can see the difference on my XB1X using this. Did take some time to update and get use to the differences from my old TV.

Picture quality and style is very nice. I like the back where you could hide the wires. I just love it.

bought this super bowl sunday after looking at a few other models at the local best buy. this is my first 4k TV so i was excited to hook up my stereo to it and enjoy the super bowl. WRONG!!!!! imagine my surprise when the TV would not see my DVR for my fiber TV. took me few minutes to figure out the receiver was not letting the signal through even though it is 4K rated. had to run tos link from the one connect box to the TV in on the receiver so i could at least get sound from my receiver. the picture on this is fantastic, it responds to all my devices and sets them real fast. just wish there would have been warning about not being able to use AV receiver with it

Bought this TV the week before Christmas to replace a 7 year old plasma TV and the best word I can choose to describe it is WOW! The resolution as amazing when we watched the first DVD it was like watching live TV. Shows and movies that we had seen in 1080p have come out as new movies with the 4k ultra. Art instructional shows have taken on an new and improved performance. The details are amazing. Worth every penny

I just got this tv and so far I love it. The picture looks amazing and the sound is booming. Literally when something happens in a movie it sounds like it would in a movie theatre. It's huge and the edges are so small around the tv. I can't connect it to the internet in my apartment but I think that's not the t.v's fault. So far I'm amazed. .....I had to take it back to Best Buy. The ARC feature simply wasn't working the way it was supposed to. I have a Sony HT-CT370 that is perfectly functional and has worked fine with multiple TVs that have ARC capabilities. (Before anyone asks, I switched out HDMI cables.) Upon a fresh power-on, the TV recognized all devices and showed everything being connected (including the sound bar), but gave me no sound. The only way to get sound, was to go into the settings, disable and re-enable HDMI-CEC (Anynet+ I believe Samsung calls it?), and then switch audio device to TV speakers, and then BACK to the sound bar. This is non-negotiable for me, a $1,200 TV should do something my $300 Black Friday Hisense does without issue. Best Buy agreed, I took it in to be tested and they said they'd send me another one. NOW, having said all that, things I enjoyed: - Tizen OS is possibly the most intuitive TV OS I've used. Includes all "major" streaming apps. I added Plex and HBO Now apps from the app store. if I HAD a cable company that supported the OS, I'm sure live TV integration would be excellent. (Suddenlink's fault, not Samsung). - Picture quality on 4K / HDR content is great. Could be brighter. - Input lag for a TV at this resolution was excellent for gaming. - OneConnect Mini is cool, wish the ethernet port was on the box instead of the TV. - Remote is great, took some getting used to, but great. Overall, I'd give this TV a 4/5 if ARC would've worked. The Best Buy employee tried to talk me into an exchange for a Sony X900E (same price), but the smart interface and remote just seemed way behind the curve to me. My replacement is on its way, and if it works without issue, I'll be happy. If I have a problem like this again, definitely exchanging for X900E (but I really don't want to). Crossing my fingers and hoping replacement works fine.

This TV lasted me 5 years. Paid $950 for it back in 2018. Somehow, someway, a drop of water hit the oneconnect box and shorted out the entire television. Samsung has since switched the oneconnect from a separate unit to combining it with the tv. I understand that TVs shouldn’t “get wet” but one drop of water completely destroys an entire tv is ridiculous.

Personally, This TV is AMAZING. I like the “One Connect” HDMI box over bult-in HDMI ports on other TV’s. It allows for better cable management/access I had an older Samsung soundbar and plugged that into the ARC port and now all devices from the OC box go through it, even from my HDMI switch that’s plugged into it! The remote also auto-synced to some of my devices, including my Amazon Firestick and my Soundbar. So now I don’t need to use the Firestick remote or the Soundbar remote. Had some issues hooking my PC up to it via HMDI, but it was specific to the PC, not the TV. Last but not least, the video quality is the best. You can definitely see the difference between a 4K tv and non-4K. I recently got the Xbox One X and the games (mainly PUBG and Battlefront 2) look unbelievable.

This is the best TV for my office. With the great pictures and all the features it is hard getting any work done! Haha. I am so glad I picked this up.

We got this back on Black Friday last year and I'm just amazed how great TVs have gotten over the past years. We had an old 52" Samsung LCD that was good 9 yrs ago but it was time for an upgrade, so glad we chose this one.

Got this tv yesterday and so far I’m very impressed with the quality... Especially the speakers (which usually suck in tvs compared to other sound systems) Picture is incredible too

Its a very nice TV at the sales price. Maybe a bit overpriced at retail! I like the crisp sharp high contrast display, although as reviewers have said the local dimming does not seem to have a lot of effct. Reviewers also commented on the limited viewing angle but it was sufficient for me. The two legged base was too wide for my stand causing me trouble even though I used the inner mounting points - took a fiull 36" wide to hold this TV. I did like the slim style and the one- wire I/O box where all the HDMI and USB ports were located. THe manual was the briefest thing I ever saw. Not much technical info there if you want to figure how to hook up external audio or anything like that.

This TV has a nice picture. Deep dark blacks and plenty of options to customize the picture to suit your needs. My biggest complaint is that if you are not directly sitting in front of it the picture quality suffers from even just a slight off center viewing angle. I will keep it but wish Samsung delivered a better experience on off center viewing.
