The Samsung is a TV I would recommend to my friends and family, and I have. The sound on the TV is great! I was misled by all the reviews that the sound was sub-optimal so I purchased a sound bar. Am returning it as I don't need it. The Geek Squad "did their job" but were less than personable and didn't really explain how to use this new technology. I am not tech savvy, thank goodness I had a friend who explained things after they left. All in all, I love my TV. I feel I made a very good purchase.

TV has great picture. I like the way the remote control works with voice and easy to use and the smart TV apps are good

Got TV Setup and when the picture was turned on, the 4K was really clear. Watching TV we saw clarity in everything from commercial's to actual shows that we had never seen before. Absolutely blew us out of the water in the definition and background and clarity of the viewing experience. Recommend this TV to everyone! Love it! Also the lack of seeing the border on the TV is great too!

The differences were night and day from my old samsung 1080 tv clean, crisp picture, beautiful colors and deep blacks.

Display is very close to OLED.Fantastic sound too. I bought this tv during thanks giving and compared all TVs at this range. None of the TVs matched the contrast ratio like this one.The black is really black. So samsung 8 series rocks. The display is so vivid that all other panels went dull except the OLED .I also compared this with samsung QLEDs and hardly found any difference.

Had a 4k vizio. No comparison this is much better!

This tv has a good picture quality and easy to navigate menus. The best part is the sleek Moden design aesthetic.

This is for my bedroom so was looking for a mid tier 4K. Samsung's have always had the best picture in my eye and this one doesn't disappoint for the price! My last Samsung this replaced lasted 10+ years so that also makes me brand loyal. Smart TV apps load super fast. Haven't bothered to calibrate as the standard picture mode looks incredible with Direct TV and my PS4. gaming is a big WOW factor and I have a launch model too not a Pro. 4k upscaling on this set is awesome.

Went in looking for less of a TV. Saw this as an open box item, but it was Geek Squad certified. Has been a great purchase. No issues at all. Great job to Best Buy, Geek Squad and Samsung on this one.
