Additionally, the lack of edge makes for a more immersive theatre-type experience. The only thing I don't like about the TV is the pair of covers on the back of the TV. I found them not especially useful and I didn't care for the fact that the back panels routed the pair of cords out the bottom of the back of the TV.

Great Purchase After lots of research

My first decision was to try and save a few bucks and go with the 7 Series, however learned quickly that I shouldn't have settled. Went back and got the 8 Series, and couldn't be happier. If you are choosing between the two, definitely go with this option. The biggest difference I have seen is a lot less jitter when watching fast action in sporting events.
