||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We replaced an old 50" plasma with this 55" LED and even though it was bigger, it seemed smaller because of the outside trim around the old plasma, so we moved up to the 60" - same TV just bigger and we are very pleased with everything but the sound. It seems impossible to get good sound in the new TV's. After adding sound bar we are pleased with whole system.

Thank you for your review of this Samsung MU8000 ultra HD Smart TV. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with picture quality.
The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out. It is also designed with lots of custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
Some users experience cloudiness as they enable HDR+ while watching HDR content, as there is no need to enable HDR+ when watching HDR content.
That feature is for SDR content that you wish to upscale to HDR. You can try disable that feature and see if that helps to solve the issue.
