    TV arrived defective. One of the screwholes on the back had no threading and therefore the stand could not be screwed in securely. Also, issues with multiple applications not launching as well as the included TV Plus stations not loading. Best buy won’t do anything because the model is “no longer in their system”. Samsung won’t repair due to the replacement part being on backorder. Overall the picture quality is great and the sound is fairly decent (in a small room). Will probably require a soundbar for larger areas. Very dissappointed in the support i have been receiving as neither bestbuy or samsung seem to be doing anything.

    The upscaling feature on this TV is impressive! I connected my computer to this TV with HDMI 2.0 played some Dirt Rally 2. I was playing at 1080p and the upscaling on the television did I great job! I thought I was playing at 1440p or rather my monitors native resolution. For reference I'm running a GTX 1080 graphics card. Additionally, I played Hitman 2 from my computer at 1440p and it looked fantastic. I sit roughly four feet away from my TV on a couch and being able to play at 1440p at a rock solid frame rate with upscaling to 4k is awesome. The difference between 1440p and 4k is expensive performance wise and the upscaling this TV provides closes that gap! I have better than 20/20 vision and the difference between 1440p and 4k is negligible on this TV with upscaling.

    TV was easy to setup but like usual Samsung's apps are something to be desired. One their iPhone apps doesn't even work with this TV, and the one that does needs yet another account, so no go on that. I work in commercial IT and am worn out from having so many accounts. I gave the TV 5 stars because of the picture quality not the apps. I'd rather have a non-smart TV and add my Apple TV or Roku to it which I did anyway. Great TV but skip the phone apps/software. Samsung never was strong on that end and they don't fix or update items in a timely manner when there are dozens of complaints on app stores for months on end for the same bad items. The onboard TV apps work ok but just more redundacy when I already own Apple TV & Roku's with thier own accounts.

    We bought this Samsung on sale just before Black Friday. We only use streaming services to watch television, including live television on YouTube TV, and we were looking for an affordable SMART television with a crisp image and a screen that wouldn't feel small in our living room. We love this product. We can use all of our apps on it without a streaming device. Everything streams with no issues, including live sporting events. The best surprise was the included Samsung television channels on the home screen. I sometimes mean to turn on Netflix and end up watching hours of Bewitched on a service we aren't even paying for. It's fantastic! We both agree that the screen size is plenty big enough. Who needs to go into debt spending thousands on 4K and a giant screen when this excellent product is available for so much less? Not us.

    I gave it 3 stars because the picture quality is good. Other than that, you can't delete their built in apps which is extremely frustrating. And when you try to load them, they don't do anything at all. I thought it was my network but nope, it's the tv. I literally just bought it like a week ago and it doesn't even play the apps. I bought Samsung because I thought they were a good brand and reliable but I'll never buy a Samsung TV again. Ever. In all fairness, the picture is sharp but there are so many designer flaws with this TV it's not even funny. You can get a sharp picture with another brand, just get something else. Not Samsung. If I had the box I'd take it back. I added a picture of Hulu just loading so you can see. Amazon Video does the exact same thing.

    I bought this for the black friday price and I’m overall happy with my purchase. I use this mainly for gaming (xbox one x and ps4 pro) and the picture is amazing. The reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve noticed a weird wavy-ness around my characters whenever they’re moving around on the screen. Like vibration lines. This is the first time I’ve experienced this, and it’s occurred in multiple games, so I have to assume the tv is to blame. If this is a common issue among 4k tvs, send me a comment and let me know. Nonetheless, this tv is worth it for the price.

    BLUF, the picture quality of this 4K TV is amazing. I was in the market for a second TV to complement my primary 65 inch TV. After comparing specs and prices, the choice came down to this model and an LG version. I have experience with both TV manufacturers. I knew that I would get a quality product either way. The specs on the Tv's are comparable, so the decision was made on price. The Samsung model was on sale at a great price. After watching the TV, I have to say that I am glad that I made the purchase. The picture quality is amazing! My family didn't know that the TV is 4K. They watched a movie on it and it was so beautiful. They were wondering why everything in the movie looked so animated. I told them days later after they watched a second movie that the TV is 4K. In addition to the 4K quality, the preinstalled apps are a great asset.

    It only has two HDMI inputs and an optical out for audio (no RCA's if you use older equipment.) Its interface and setup is a little too "smart" for its own good. The positives? None of that can distract from the picture quality and capability at its price- and it's a Samsung, they know how to make a decent TV. TV's are intended to be watched, not have their menus navigated all day. This one is enjoyable no matter what you're watching. I have a home audio system, but the speakers on this TV impressed me- I expected nothing short of tinny, underwhelming nose and was actually met with some rich mid-bass and crisp mid-highs. For two tiny full range speakers they are quite impressive. Picture is fantastic when playing games/movies on my PS4 Pro. Money well spent in my opinion

    I bought on door buster event. Overall performance is worth what you spend. Content (4K/HD) plays good, except some occasional lag (Mili secs). It’s not disturbing, but just an observation. One other thing that make me feel uncomfortable is, it doesn’t recognises 5GHZ freq on WiFi. So, just connects by 2G and all other devices are on 5G, and has some connectivity issues. Sometimes when you turn on TV, it doesn’t recognises network, though you had it connected to the same network all the time. We had to reset settings and connect to WiFi. The toughest part is to type the password ... if it’s too long and complicated. It has little internal memory to hold apps! Bluetooth headphones were not connected. I think, that’s just with my device and wouldn’t consider TVs fault. Rest of the aspects, I feel happy with the performance.

    I purchased this TV for my bedroom. Didn't need a QLED TV just a 4k TV for Movies and Streaming. Excellent Pre- Black Friday price from Bestbuy. Great clear crisp picture and sound is acceptable. The built in Wifi works ok, but I already had a Roku Ultra that I hooked up to the TV. Actually have to lower the volume when using the Roku. I would recommend a Roku if any issues with Wifi are encountered. Didn't buy for a gaming TV, so I personally don't have issues with 60hz refresh. 4th Samsung TV that I have purchased in the last 10 years. Can't go wrong with a Samsung

    First off, Its a Samsung so it has a great picture. The setup is easy to use and the smart feature are a nice plus for a base model. It has built in wifi but no bluetooth, which is bad if you have a sound bar and don't want to use the optical port. This unit only has 2 HDMI ports. This surprised me for a 55" 4K TV. I have my cable box, Firestick and a BluRay player. Now with only 2 ports one of them has to go or I need to get an HDMI splitter and have yet another remote floating around. See ya BluRay!!! The ports on this TV are limited. I would have liked to see more options. At current it only has 2 HDMI ports, Ant in, Optical and USB port. Like I said, Not a lot of options. That is the reason for my 4 stars. Other than that, great price, nice sound, easy menu.

    So I bought this TV as part of the Black Friday specials. Going in I know that generally the TV's that are on sale do lack a few items that the normal baseline models include so the TV lacking an HDMI input did not bother me. I will say that I am thoroughly impressed with this TV. The picture is great, the resolution and refresh rate is awesome for sporting events. (I have Fios service which does add to quality of resolution.) I had a "TV guy" over to watch a sporting event yesterday and he was impressed with it. I will admit I am using for gaming but if that is your intent I would assume that you would want a gaming specific TV. For the price, I am thoroughly happy with this purchase.

    I couldn’t wait to get this tv home. At first- the picture was great and I fell in love. The colors and how vibrant everything is- just out of this world... but my love for this TV ended very quickly.As of late- I’ve had nothing but issues with the WiFi. I have other Samsung tv’s and this is the only one where the WiFi cuts In and out- apps load and freeze constantly. I made sure the software was up to date. I reached out to Samsung and their solution was to unplug the tv for 30 seconds and plug it back in thus resetting the tv. I shouldn’t have to do this every day I want to watch Netflix, Vudu or the Spectrum app. I honestly feel like I wasted my money on this TV.

      Your router location and distance from the TV are important considerations -- having them both on the same floor with minimal interference blocking the signal (like a wall, etc.) will improve connection. You may also want to try wired LAN, if possible, since the connection will be faster and more reliable.

    I was hesitate to buy a tv for black Friday since they're mostly lower end budget tvs but really didn't went to spent 2 or 3 times as much money for a mid/high grade with more bells and whistles, so ended up with this Samsung 55 6 series. Great picture and love the built in tv guide (my insignia lacks the guide feature). I also like the screen mirroring feature, I can mirror my Samsung phone on the tv to view pictures/videos bigger. The only thing that i don't like is the lower sound quality (my cheaper insignia has better sound actually), the sound is not as loud and also too low/bass (voices are deep). Also lacks some plugs like the yellow, red, white plug for older vcr's...but overall I'm impressed with the tv.

    As long as you're going in knowing this TV is not going to compete with a $2000 TV you are going to love it. For the $400 range this TV has a really nice picture. Other reviews mentioned issues with sound quality but I am happy with it, not top of the line but does a nice job. I wish it had more than 2 HDMI ports but I knew that going in. I planned on using an HDMI matrix switch with it but my Sonos system seems to have some heartache using this TV's Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) with the switch so I am going to have to get a little creative now. Samsungs wall mounting is a bit of a pain, not a show stopper but annoying. Basically some limitations but all in all a great tv for the price; no regrets buying it.

    Bought the TV on Black Friday. And we are just now getting around to using it because we moved and all and just got internet at our new house. It is definitely ULTRA HD! Wow. It will take some getting used to for sure! We haven’t bought a new TV in years and decided we would this time, and did so on Black Friday to save money. We haven’t explored all the features yet, but the picture is very clear and the details are amazing! My husband thinks the UHD makes the videos look fake though. He will need more time than me to get used to this. Volume is a bit quieter than what we’re used to, but not too quiet that you’d have to strain to read it. Overall, it’s a great TV for the money I paid for it!

    Picked this up for Black Friday. It was working great until today, January 26th. I was watching Netflix when these lines appeared on the screen, and the picture started flickering. I tried turning it off and on, and unplugging it. I live alone and nothing has touched the screen. Working with tech support and nothing is fixing it. Now one of their service techs has to come out to look at it.

    I got the TV home and it wanted me to set it up via an app on my phone. Spent 10 minutes doing that only to find out this TV doesn’t work with the APP. I then proceeded with the remote and can’t get any of the TV apps to install because the TV is endlessly updating the “smart hub”. Still can’t get an app to download. Now I’m watching regular tv via cable and the picture is mediocre at best. Definitely blurry motion. Not a great TV for sports. Spend the extra money and get something better. This is a Black Friday bargain basement tv.

    It is a wonderful TV. Great picture, the audio is very impressive for the base TV. Easy to set up, easy to use. The "cable management system" on the back is far from impressive, it is simply a few grooves built in that you can push the cable into, but it has no hold over the cord to prevent it from slipping out. Nothing a piece of tape couldn't fix, if that's your thing, though. Also, I did seem to notice very choppy display, when you change certain settings on the TV. The choppiness/video blur is somewhat disorienting when you have it on those settings, but when not engaged, it still has wonderful video and great colors. Great value for the price though.

    Gamer review: I have a relatively small room for gaming purposes, and this 55-incher does the trick perfectly. While it's not a true 120hz monster like the more pricey ones, for under $450? This thing is a steal. Color, contrast, lights and darks, all shine forth beautifully. Samsung's "game mode" manages to even make the refresh rate look as good as those pricey Sony models out there. Terrific latency and response time make the TV a gamer's pick of the litter, bettering similar offers from LG (like the UK6300) and even other, pricier Samsungs (the surprisingly inferior 7100 for example). Gamers, you found your 50+ inch under $450 TV!
