    Bought this TV as a gift for our 80+yo cousin who had a smaller older TV with a picture that was giving his failing eyesight trouble viewing...so glad because he said this TV made him feel like his vision was 20\20 again! Only problem now his wife wants one too! Since she just had her 80th birthday we'll probably be going back in for a second one of these TVs real soon! We always buy Samsung and have never been disappointed yet!

    I'm loving this TV for the price. The one downside is the out of the box picture settings are not great, and many won't know how or when to make the changes, myself included. Already, many times I find myself watching dark scenes, thinking, I wish I could see what was happening here. Then I change the picture quality and it looks a little washed out... so I am struggling with the blacks and dark scenes.

    We have no problems with this model. The sound is good, the picture is clear, and the only thing that was any kind of a problem was it is strange how far the screws were recessed for the wall mounting bracket. We got this to replace our broken TV of the same size and ended up having to go buy screws to fit because we couldn't find or maybe had never had the right size with the existing bracket to wall mount it. Other than that, it works fine and the price was fair.

    Samsung has been a good go to for screens. However, this purchase had a few issues. Dead pixels a week after owning it. Because of the curved back, our wall mount was a challenge (very little detail in the manual). You will need M8 VESA bolts-length depends on your situation, but you must use supplied bolt holders. Set up software was not very user friendly. Returned the unit for an LG.

    I have had a Samsung 65 inch tv in my living room for the past two years. Best Buy had a good sale on55 inch so I bought one for my bedroom. The size is perfect. The price was excellent. The picture is awesome. And the performance of the tv has been sensational as well. I especially love the sleep timer and automatic shut off functions. I would definitely recommend this 55 inch Samsung tv.

    Definition is great, I like that there are multiple preset modes (standard, movie, natural) for viewing. I don’t use many of the functions, but the interface was easy to use and the remote worked to control streaming devices without me doing anything extra. I really picked this model because it fit in the space available.

    I bought this tv because of the great price and good picture. I was completely disappointed when I couldn’t use the apps—Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. The tv won’t connect to my internet, and I even upped my internet to make sure it was strong enough. Called Samsung and they keep telling me it’s the internet; called the internet and they keep telling me it’s Samsung. Have a technician coming out to check on the tv—hope they can fix it, or I’ll be returning.

    Great quality, bad wifi connectivity

    I bought this TV because I loved the quality and image. I have had it for 2 weeks (connected and using it) and I tend to continue to have ussues with it connecting to wifi or to keep connected. I have have called Samsung, Spectum (which seemed to be the issue) and nothing is wrong. I spend so much time and money getting this TV and it is inconvenient for me to go to the store and return, it took me for ever to get it hone because it will not fit in my car.

      Your router location and distance from the TV are important considerations -- having them both on the same floor with minimal interference blocking the signal (like a wall, etc.) will improve connection. You may also want to try wired LAN, if possible, since the connection will be faster and more reliable.

    I use the TV in my exercise room to view running videos while on the elliptical. 4k videos are just like being there. The colors are vibrant and the picture crisp. I use the TV for workout with Hasfit app. I had a 40 inch tv Samsung. The 55 inch makes a greater impact. It would nice if it had more than two hdmi inputs. The arc is a help.

    If you’re like me and buy a TV every ten years or so, it’s easy to bow sincerely in Samsung’s direction to thank them for the latest innovation. The 4K picture is so good, I’m not waiting for 5K. Smart features work well and setup is a breeze. You will find yourself resetting the network once in a while, especially if your wifi configuration is lagging behind throughout your home.

    I love this TV it even has better picture than the 8100 I bought last year. You can beat the price and quality. Sure it does not have some bells and vissels that the other ones have. This TV picture is amazing. It works extreamely well and Geek squad did a great job installing it. I have had this TV now for 6 months and it still amazes me how good the picture is. I can watch sports and regular movies and it's amazing.

    This is our 3rd TV 46 Samsung first one bought in 2011 in the Philippines and continue to work 2019 that is 8 years now. Second one 58 Samsung bought on the U.S. 2018 sent to the Philippines 2019 only now used straight out of the box working great have to use a transformer for 120V since in the Philippines 220V. This is the 3rd what can I say Samsung has not failed me yet.

    The sole reason i got Samsung was for the Xfinity App. Well it doesnt work well. TV says most days than not that it cant load the APP or content. I have issues with HULU also. Its an OK TV. I wish i would have returned it before the time up. I thought it was 30 days but its only 14 days so now I am screwed. Its better to just stick with non smart TV and get the sticks or use a PS.

    The TV is good. The picture quality Is great but we bought it so we wouldn't have to run our xbox to stream hulu and Netflix but this TV constantly has issues connecting with our wifi. Our modem is literally right next to our TV and it still has issues. We've troubleshooted the issue and still no fixes for it. Disappointed since we still have to use our xbox most of the time.

    TV is very good for the price point. Not super high quality for sports though. The motion rate could be better, gets a little grainy with action (ie: football games). This great for bedroom. Adjust sound settings for better sound quality. Worth the price, but not super high def.

    I realize my TV was a Black Friday release, and I know better quality TVs are out there, but I am thoroughly happy with this model and the price I paid for it. Setup was easy as was syncing the TV with my smart things app on my phone. Makes it really easy when I misplace the remote. The picture quality is wonderful! My boyfriend turned to me while we were watching a movie and said "Thank you for buying this TV!"

    I bought a 4k TV from Best Buy-Evansville. When I went in the store I intended to buy a surround sound system. The Best Buy website said that Best Buy would recycle my old TV. Best Buy-Evansville wanted to charge me $25 to recycle my old TV! I was so upset about this, I got my new TV, left and bought a surround sound system on Amazon. TV was a great purchase, but I am reluctant to enter Best Buy Evansville again!

    Great after Thanksgiving price, many other retailers selling same make/model for a few dollars more. I love the picture. Samsung makes great products. Sound is good too! Lots of Apps, a true Smart TV and connects to the internet. We cut the cable cord so , a side note if you plan on it too, this model does not currently support Sling TV per their tech team, but they assured they are diligently working on it. No problem with delivery.

    I was very impressed with the TV, I bought for my wife's birthday. Price was perfect, and TV went beyond expectations, until tonight not even 18 days later gray pixelation clouded up the top part of the screen. Now picture hurts my eyes when viewing and I will be forced to return for a replacement.

    The first reason I bought this is the price. When I got home and saw the picture, I was impressed with what I got for the money. John in the cell phone department suggested this model, and I appreciate his help. I will be shopping here more often. Since our last one went out, I went ahead and got the warranty. I bought it for my parents and they like the peace of mind.
