TV is well worth the money especially since it was on sale. Very good picture with easy installation.

Snatched this up for under $400 on BF, knowing I'd get what I paid for. That is, not a top-shelf TV but nonetheless a Samsung with that level of brand quality. Replaced a big clunky 46" Toshiba LED and the impact was immediate. Looks great, easy setup, can't wait to stack some UHD's and enjoy the fervor of 4K. CONS: Only two HDMI ports is insane this day and age. Get it right guys. Overall great value and would buy again!

The first one we had a dead pixel to it but thankfully it was within the return period so it was replaced with a new one with no questions asked. As for the picture quality is excellent in terms of streaming movies. colors and details are crisp and pleasant to the eyes making viewing an enjoyable experience. That may not be the case however when it comes to the demands of gaming with its slower refresh rate. The remote layout is somewhat clunky and difficult to navigate. Overall at its price point it doesn't disappoint.

Great after Thanksgiving price, many other retailers selling same make/model for a few dollars more. I love the picture. Samsung makes great products. Sound is good too! Lots of Apps, a true Smart TV and connects to the internet. We cut the cable cord so , a side note if you plan on it too, this model does not currently support Sling TV per their tech team, but they assured they are diligently working on it. No problem with delivery.

This TV is a step up from my smaller, lesser quality smart TV and we love it! The picture quality is so great that it looks like you're sitting in the audience when TV shows were being filmed. Remote is a bit different from prior remote - no "Smart Hub" button so we still don't know how to access Netflix or Hulu, but we'll figure it out.

I was using a 37 inch LED TV before I upgraded to this and the size difference alone is awesome. When people are sitting down on screen they look life-sized almost like they are sitting across the table from me, it's such a cool thing. The Smart Features come in handy since I don't pay for cable and if someone borrows my Xbox I can still watch any of my shows on Hulu or Netflix straight from my TV just using the remote.

Purchased Price: $379 (A week before Black Friday) Days owned: 1 month. I have to say, this TV has the best picture quality for it's price range, no, even better quality than what I paid. The modern TV shows and widgets like Netflix work really great with this 55" screen. The old shows don't adapt to the size of the screen so there is empty black space around it to keep the quality from getting grainy. I have not had any complaints about the screen/pixels itself, but the remote is still awkward. I know Samsung's remotes have always had the up, down, right, left, and okay/enter keys near the bottom of the remote, but it's just so awkward to hold. My ONLY complaint about this TV, is that the sound quality is not the greatest. The speakers are in the back which gets muffled by the wall. There is no sound that comes towards you as you sit in FRONT of the TV. You'll have to get external speakers to get good sound. Overall, I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for clear pictures and is okay with investing in external surround sound.

Purchased this tv on thanksgiving as a gift for my father in law. Pros: Very light. Easy to lift. Can be wall mounted or leg stand. Lega easu to snap in. Great picture - the colors are sharp and the black is deep and proper. Reduces glare even when the window facing tv is direct on. Brightness adjusts with the ambient light. Remote included is basic universal so you can control cable box and dvd player with it. True smart tv with app store! Pre loaded apps include youtube, vudu, netflix and hulu. Very easy to add more such as youtube tv Con: only two HDMI ports - this could be fixed with a switch but in this day amd age an HD TV should have 3-4 min hdmi ports. Athough not a true con, the power cable is really short, so depending on your setup you may need an extension cord. Overall very happy with it and recommend it based on ease of setup and quality.

Bought this on sale. Not a lot of bells and whistles but a good basic smart tv. I have another Samsung that is a couple of years older and Samsung has changed the way they present some of the settings menus and channel menus and I prefer the way they are presented on the older television, but this is nitpick. Other than that, I am very happy with the tv.

This was my first "smart" TV. I really liked the idea that the TV connected to my online video library and streaming without having to go through another device. Like the "monitors" I reviewed also, I have this TV linked so I can have basic control of it via my cellphone. Picture and sound are very good.
