I bought this TV after my son broke the last one in the basement. I was amazed at what a great picture this TV has. The family believes that this TV has a better picture on it than the Sony I bought for the family room about 2 years ago that costs 4 times as much. Needless to say we have been watching more TV in the basement and less in the family room. Picture is great, colors are dialed in and are bright, no issues with motion either. Definitely a great second TV or even as your primary!

The television is a great model for the money. We had been viewing on a Sony flat screen from 2006. It is an awesome tv, but I wanted something that was smart and lighter. The Samsung 55" LED 2160P is pretty amazing. The picture quality is awesome and the sound is good without a soundbar. The only issue I have is that the sound when connected with cable is not that great. I am thinking that has more to do with the cable than the television.

We upsized from an older 42” tv, and we were very impressed with this. The picture is great and the user interface is easy enough to use and fast. Only downside is you don’t get the Samsung OneRemote, which you would get if you spent $300 more dollars to get the next higher model. The standard remote is, as far as we can tell, not universal, so we can’t control our sound bar with it.

I am very pleased with my purchase of this Samsung 4K television. The picture quality is very good. The images are quite sharp and well defined. The color is very realistic and not at all overly made up looking as some televisions have a tendency towards. The controls are simple by that I mean the remote. Of course this is the second Samsung television I have purchased in 3 years. So now both televisions are Samsung.

Beautiful picture, easy set up and terrific price. What more can you ask for?

I paid 479 which seemed very good. This television has a lot of smart tv features. It lets me watch netflix, hulu, amazon and all the rest. The sound is good and the picture is very nice. It only has 3 HDMI ports - it could use another 1 or 2. It has a fiber optic port for the sound amplifier. I wish it had miracast for my laptop or an extra HDMI port so I could watch youtube on it.

I am so happy I chose this smart TV! This is my first smart TV and had mostly LG TVs, but I absolutely LOVE this Samsung!! Plus I have a S9+ phone so they work together nicely ad well. The picture is so perfect! Wow what a difference going from 720p to 4k!! I am extremely happy with my purchase! The app functions work much better on this smart TV than the wifi DVD players I had!

I watch my TV every day without any problems. I am very happy that I can watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc. The sound is good because the volume goes all the way to 100. And the picture is so clear, everyone says that they are so impressed because the picture looks real. Toshiba is a high quality TV that is worth the money because it lasts long. I only buy Toshiba's.

We needed to buy a new TV in this size to fit in a built spot in our new house. Having already laid out quite a bit of money on a new QLED in our family room and setting up our theater room, money was tight when making this choice. We were hoping our existing TV was going to fit. At under $500 for a 55" 4k HDR TV it's hard to say anything bad about this TV. I feel it's necessary to grade this TV on what it is, and not what it isn't. I don't think it's fair to knock it for not having the features of the more expensive models. It's like complaining that a cheap car doesn't drive like an expensive one. The picture quality satisfies my needs, though it is not as good as my QLED. That should be expected. The SMART HUB is great and if you're a cord cutter you'll appreciate the amount of apps offered and the layout. However, my knock of one star has to do with the quality of the wifi/ethernet speed. It is MUCH slower than my Apple TV. Now, I understand this may not be fair as the Apple TV alone is a 3rd of this price of this TV. However, I have them both hardwired to the same network and get 800 Mbps on my Apple TV and about 35 Mbps from this TV on my fiber network. Having said that, it s still a solid TV for the money with a good picture and much better than expected audio (once I changed the settings).

Was easy to set up with my cable box and dvd player. I didn't think that I would be able to set up the vhs player/recorder because it says no component video hookup but the tv comes with plug in adapter cords to do this. Makes my wife happy because I tape Hallmark for her. Great picture.

Love everything about the TV - easy to set up, great pic, intuitive features. Excellent quality at a great price.

This 55" TV fits perfectly on the stand where our previous TV sat. It is a nice TV with a good picture. Easy to set up and the "feet" are adequate as I do not feel the TV is subject to falling over. We added a sound bar and that was a good decision for us.

My 14 year old flat screen gave out and I love my TV viewing, so off to Best Buy. For the price and size I think this was a great deal. So much thinner and light than my bold TV. Easy set up instructions and took very little time to do it. The sales person was awesome and since they don't make commission I felt I was being given the best advice.

TV has a great picture and was easy to set up. I does try to push some products on you that I don't use but they don't impede the use of the TV. I'm able to easily use Amazon Prime and Netflix, the two main apps that I do use. I also use CBS All Access on occasion, this is not available.

I finally decided that I wanted a bigger (& smarter) tv though my 32” Samsung tv from 2006 was still as good as new. The picture on this new tv is spectacular, even guests at my house comment on the great picture. It was easy to setup. It’s been a fantastic transition to the modern era of tvs!

I would recommend this tv to anyone. It’s not giant, but it’s definitely a good size for a small to moderate living room or larger bedroom. The quality of the picture is outstanding and I can notice details that I couldn’t before. The price may be steep for some, but I assure you it’s worth every penny.

Very well balanced tv with good options and performace. Picture is great, sound is decent and features and inputs are also good. The only slight negative is the colors are best when viewed near center of screen. Ps4 pro, bluray and streaming content looks excellent. One of the best tvs you can get at this price range and its Samsung not some lousy Chinese brand that dies in a year or so.

I love Samsung products. I wasn't sure if I would purchase this model after reading some of the reviews, but when I saw it in person and looked at the features, I felt this would be a great buy. The picture quality is great. The price is great too. I'm very happy with this television.

We didn't need OLED or QLED which increases the price greatly. We have always had good luck with Samsung products so, although we looked at other TVs, we decided on this 55" Samsung. It has everything we need for a good price, good picture, easy to use, and the right size for the room.

The picture is UHD goodness! Size and brightness works well for our viewing area. I think it's a general 4K thing but movement seems much more fluid relative to HD-1080p and takes a little bit to get used to. One month in now and it still strikes me sometimes when watching action sequences and intros. We use it for streaming 4K movies primarily and have tried both the LAN and wifi without noticing a lot of difference between the two. Remote control and switching of source audio/video using the TV control via ARC-HDMI works the same as it did with the previous television despite our using an older surround receiver. My only complaint - with a cost of one star, is due to the flakiness of one of the Samsung hub streaming applications. While watching two different (rented $) movies, on separate occasions $$, the app decided to crash and reboot the set. Then, on reconnect, act up in different ways with varying short periods of buffering, viewing or crashing again. Using the other applications and an external Android tv box resolved that.
