Great TV!!! I Love it!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased my Q6f 4-months ago and I absolutely love it. Hesitated on buying a 4K Smart tv, but after reading the reviews of prior purchasers, I decided it was time to jump into the fire. My first Samsung buy and I'm sold. Great picture, ease of use and the Geeks were very Professional.

Great picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been looking for an oled tv for quite some time and was waiting for the prices to become more affordable and at 999 this tv is without a doubt an incredible buy.the picture is so crisp and the smart remote is a great feature..the one connect cable is larger than the more expensive q’s but I don’t see it as an issue.the only thing that’s a detractor on this set isthe processor but at this price point it’s hard to complain...it’s worth every penny...

Can’t go wrong for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this at Best Buy a couple days ago set it up and I can’t believe how beautiful the picture is on the TV . One connector cord is over 9ft. Long which made it easy to mount the TV on the wall and one connect cord reaches the floor and beyond you can’t go wrong with this TV ...

samsung Q6F 55"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is awesome. I saw a lot of negative reviews on it but I bought it anyways. This TV does exactly what I need it for. NETFLIX! It looks amazing when watching movies and tv shows. I also use it for my direct tv and it truly does feel like you are there. If you are not a TV geek or anything and just want a great tv where everyone says WOW when looking at it the this is your TV!

Sports look terrible....reason I bought the TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV with the expectation that the picture would be great as it was in the store. It is, for the most part. Ultra HD and 4K videos look amazing. However, I really wanted to upgrade my 10 year old 720p Samsung to a newer TV for the purposes of watching sports. After searching and reviewing, this TV seemed to provide the best picture and the sales guy at Best Buy also said the sports on this TV look incredible. Since it is the NHL playoffs, and I do love hockey, I decided to go out and buy this TV. Brought it home, set up was easy, picture looks amazing for kids shows, Netflix etc, but NHL games are blurry, appears out of focus. I decided to switch to an NBA game and I got the same thing! I went on line, tried to switch on and off the recommended expert settings and it was no use. The jerseys are blurry, when the players move fast, it appears all garbled and the puck sometimes looks like it is jumping around the ice. When they aren't moving, it does not look bad, but when the action starts, it does not look good at all. My 10 year old TV looked better for sports than this one. Again, everything else looks amazing. I gave this fair rating because the specific reason I bought the TV, is extremely disappointing. Maybe I am missing something, I don't know. I will continue to look around to see what else I can figure out.

Please read Samsung forum reviews
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m the beginning this tv was great. Picture was, and is, awesome. There are some not so great things. I wish I would have read the Samsung forums before agreeing to this purchase. The tv will switch between apps all on its own, AND IT TURNS ITSELF ON ALL DAY AND NIGHT! Apparently this is a big problem across the board on the qled tvs. They also don’t know how to fix it, so for now I have to keep the tv unplugged when not using it.

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Q6 49 2018 and exchanged for the Q6 55 2017 cause I really wanted the mini connect box and I thought the picture was gonna be better. I do not know what the differences between the 2017 and 2018 models are, but I was expecting more from this one. I think the 2018 model had a better picture!

No Multiple Audio Out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased this TV and I was quite pleased with it until we discovered that when you use a blue tooth headset it mutes the speakers on the TV. We contacted Samsung and they did a remote access on our TV and found that it wasn't capable of using the "Multiple Audio Out" feature. Sadly, I will be returning it. My husband is hard of hearing and has to use a headset. I never expected to have this kind of a problem with a Smart TV.

DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Samsung QLED 4k 55”, model # QN55Q7FAM from Best Buy on December 13th, 2017. In late June of 2018 I started experiencing lines across the screen and contacted Samsung on July 11th. Over the course of the next 51 days, (and still counting) Samsung has switched how they are going to resolve the issue that is clearly under warranty, 5 TIMES!!!! But it is still not repaired and I have a very expensive paperweight as over half the screen is failing now. Samsung originally said they would send someone to the house to fix it, after waiting a few weeks I got a call from Samsung that they would just ship a new TV to me and the shipping carrier would take the old one. Then another week later I got a call from Samsung saying they would just do an in store exchange, as this would be easier. After another few weeks and many, many calls later, Best Buy had the exchange info from Samsung. I purchased this TV as an open box item from Best Buy and was assured it was in 100% working order and still carried the full manufacture warranty. But now in order to exchange the TV for a replacement one, Best Buy wants me to pay $700 out of pocket to exchange for the exact same TV. Best Buy flat out lies to customers that open box items carry the same warranty, they DO NOT! They will force you to pay the full price if it breaks when under warranty. So I called Samsung again and they set up an in house repair. After waiting another few weeks, the technician showed up with the incorrect parts to repair the TV. So here I sit over 51 days later, Samsung and Best Buy have still not resolved the issue. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone and at least 20 phone calls to Samsung and Best Buy. Please save yourself the horrible experience I am currently going through and do not purchase a Samsung TV. I have been a long time Samsung and Best Buy customer, but no more. Almost 2 months is not an acceptable amount of time to have a TV fixed that is under warranty. That’s counting it ever gets fixed!!

Disappointed and exchanged
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV on Saturday and exchanged it on Monday. Based on reviews on a few sites, including bestbuy.com, I was expecting a pretty good TV picture for a great price. However after several hours of watching both regular TV shows and sports I was disappointed. With regular TV I had to turn off all the smart motion features to avoid the soap opera effect. The picture (Directv) still had a slight judder to it that I dont notice on my other two TVs, one of which is an older Samsung. Then when I flipped to sports everything was blurry with motion features off. Sports was better with motion control on, but I'm not going to constantly change TV settings as I flip around. In the end the TV was, for me, just not watchable. So I went back to Best Buy and exchanged it for the LG B7 OLED. So far (only 1 evening) I am very impressed with the B7, but will wait to review that. The main downside to this is that the B7, even when on sale, was $500 more than this Q6. If you are in the market for a new TV my suggestion would be to check out rtings.com. They have a wide range of TV reviews, and also post recommended settings for each TV that they review.

Good but blurry faces watching sports
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV looks great for the most part, but having trouble getting it right watching sports. I bought this TV majority to watch sports. When watching basketball the players faces looks like they are blurred out. Almost like when you are watching an interview and they are blanking out someones face on purpose. I cant figure out which settings will sharpen up the faces and get rid of the blurr. Its is super annoying, my 10 year old LG looks better watching sports. I am sure its just something I need to tweak...i tried messing around with it and cant get it right. any help would be awesome!
