Great tv with a great picture. It was easy to set up and even easier to use. Have not viewed 4K yet, QLED was a great upgrade.

I am very impressed with quality of the picture and intensity of the colors. The tv is easy to use and it is very easy to stream.

Great picture, even in a sun lit room. Remote and Bixby leave a lot to be desired though... doesn't understand the simplest commands like pause show or will tell me that it needs to search the web for tune to channel xyz

Traded my OLED for this one and don't regret it for a second. Picture is perfect and dark colors are the right shade.

There's definitely a positive difference in resolution, brightness and refresh rate between my previous TV and this one. Video games, movies and sports look great on this one too. The only issue that I have seen so far is some weird frame pacing that makes some object appear to be moving slower or faster than they would in real life or were intended to appear. But it doesn't happen very often to become a nuisance. So overall I like the TV quite a bit.

Quality of picture is fabulous! Much more detailed. Brights are brights. Darks are enhanced. Love it!

It has nice pixels, brightness and color definition. It is definitely better than de series 7 and q6

I used to have the Vizio M series which looked good but decided to upgrade and was looking between a Qled and Oled, after reading several reviews online I decided to go with Qled, picture quality looks amazing, sure the Oled might be better but at least I won't be worried about the whole image burn in and it also cost much less. The smart tv features are really cool and easy to use so that's another plus. Overall I highly recommend the Q8FN.

This TV is fantastic! We bought a 4K TV and returned it because without a real 4K source there was no visible improvement over 1080i. Then we bought this QLED and OMG it is amazing!!! In 4K it is absolutely stunning. But even on broadcast TV via cable it is beautiful and a MASSIVE visible improvement over both a high end 1080i AND OVER A HIGH END 4K TV. Buy it and you will be awestruck by it in your living room.

I am a Samsung consumer and after my last TV purchase from Best Buy went to graveyard heaven, it was time for another trip to the store. However, I researched the available models and returned to Samsung once again. The picture is awesomely crisp and clear. My system is connected to a built in theater and the sound is wonderful including the cinema quality. I am so glad that I upgraded to the Q8F.

The Samsung LED Q8F smart TV has an amazing picture. It is in a very bright room with floor to ceiling glass and the non-reflective screen really helps the picture. The excellent contrast and blacks makes the picture come to life. The smart TV functions are incredible and I am streaming more and more content. Once my friends see this TV they are wishing they had the same set. Highly recommended!

So far, I’ve returned 4 Samsung 55 inch Q8FN tvs due to screen defects. No LED has perfect uniformity but these QLEDs are the worse I’ve ever seen. Normally, you should only see uniformity issues during sports due to the solid colors. You should not see these issues during normal content. Well, I’m on panel number 5 which has the same yellow spots, dark lines and dirty screen effect as every single one had. I’ve uploaded a few pics to show what I’m talking about and trust me, these uniformity issues are noticeable on all content, not just solid colors. The uniformity is so bad, it ruins everything...gaming, movies, netflix and even the simple settings menus look bad. This poor level of uniformity shouldn’t exist on today’s market of televisions. No tv has or will have perfect uniformity but this is unacceptable. My 10 year old Samsung looks 95% better with no yellow spots or banding with minimal DSE. QLED would be the king of LEDs but these issues ruin everything that is beautiful about this tv. Samsung agreed the screen was a defective and sending a tech to replace the panel. But what are the chance I bought 5 from 3 different cities, all that had the same defects. We will see what happens with this repair but I have a bad feeling. In the mean time, I purchased a Sony X900F while my 5th QLED waits for the repair tech. The Sony panel is near flawless with no banding, no yellow spots and barely any dirt screen affect. The only uniformity issues I found noticable are the corners are a bit darker. So, if Sony can make their uniformity so clear on their full array panels, how come Samsung is having issues? Even the uniformity on my 10 year old Samsung didn’t have these issues. So I beg the question...what happened with the quality control Samsung?

I absolutely love this TV! I spent months researching and the only TV I found better was the Q9 but those start at 65" and I had to stay at 55" but my goodness does this TV do everything I could ask and more. Beautiful picture. Unlike most TV's that have an amazing picture at the store only to get it home and find that not to be the case. This picture looks just as good as the best buy showroom.

Bought this to game on honestly. The picture is great and i am not disappointed whatsoever. I think the blacks still look a tad better on the OLED but i still really enjoy the picture on this TV. I've played with game mode on and off, still plays good either way but is definately smoother in game mode without sacrificing picture quality greatly.
