    We decided to transform our family room with new furniture and we showcased our new entertainment center with a Samsung 55 " Frame. The technology is superior, I am using Bluetooth receiver and our exiting speakers. The smart remote is incredible.

    Best view as a framed picture is during the daytime. When dark, it lights up somewhat and does not look as much like a framed picture, but more like a tv screen. Applying a wood (or other) frame around it helps.

    I was really happy with how this turned out. My wife and I really wanted a television, but did not want it to be the focal point of the room. This TV is not only very slim but doubles as a painting when not in use and seamlessly blends into the room.

    Great except 1 fatal flaw

    I purchased to display my own landscape photos. Image quality is quite good, especially for the price. I like how slim it is against the wall. Loading and displaying photos is straightforward. So 5 stars except NO COLOR MANAGEMENT. I just assumed for a monitor advertised to display art it would have some ability to manage color. It does have your normal TV color adjustments (brightness, hue, etc) so I can make any given image look right. All of my images are are correctly adjusted on a calibrated monitor and have an appropriate color profile assigned (Image P3 seems the best for The Frame). But then it "optimizes" each photo or art image. If the image is an average mix of colors and intensities it looks great. But is the image is meant to display darker or lighter than average or has a large amount of one color (like orange for a sunset or green for a landscape) then The Frame, instead of respecting the color profile, normalizes the image which in my case often means decreasing saturation, adjusting brightness and changing the color balance of some photos. An so some photos that look great on a calibrated monitor or when printed out end up looking terrible on The Frame. The fact that there is no way to turn of this crappy optimization is inexcusable for something intended to display art.

      We appreciate you sharing details of the dimming issue you’ve experienced on your Frame TV. Please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred.

      Check to see if Contrast Enhancer has been enabled. This setting automatically adjusts your TV's brightness so the difference between bright and dark areas is not excessive. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer

      If Contrast Enhancer hasn’t been enabled, please see if Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, or Motion Lighting have been enabled and disable them.
      - Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting

      Please also be sure your TV’s firmware is up to date with the latest version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

    Great TV! We were searching for an artist to paint pictures of photos we had taken from our balcony. This frame TV allows us to show all of the pictures and not just one!

    Wonderful accent to the home that doubles as beautiful artwork and entertainment. Initially worried about muffling sound but can hear pretty clearly.

    I am not a huge TV guy and I find them all ugly as a big black screen. This one is just perfect for me. The resolution and the matt / nonreflection screen make it chic, discreet and beautiful.
