It tries to block the usage of our Apple TV and messes with the sound and such. I believe this is most likely to make you download apps to the tv and use it that way. Better tracking/info for them. We’ve had a few issues the tv drops the WiFi signal periodically and I have to reconnect. But so far not a huge issue. But it is the reason for it not being 5 stars. The color and image quality is great.

Thank you for choosing Samsung’s Q60A TV and for sharing your experience with connectivity. Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1807.2 which includes input device performance updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
To further address your issue with Wi-Fi connectivity, you may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Make sure that no items that can generate electromagnetic interferences are placed between the TV and the wireless/wired access point.
2) Check if the access point is turned on. If it is on, turn it off, wait 1 or 2 minutes, and then turn it on. Enter the correct password if required.
3) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.
4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

Also, I sit at an angle to it and there is none of the distortion that some reviewers have mentioned. The paired Samsung sound bar is providing a total experience that we really enjoy. A negative is the remote. It is total junk. We use Spectrum remotes and those work out well.

It is quite different from our old antiquated one. I think Samsung could include a more comprehensive user manual…thank goodness for web info. I purchased a sound bar too. Tv manufacturers could put speakers other than on back of the tv. Aside from that the tv has a great picture.

Easy to set up and navigate. Super clean, clear picture quality. Not really liking the solar remote, but definitely not a deal breaker, especially because the remote from my previous Samsung works perfectly for this one as well.
