I would turn it off and a few hours later it would be back on. And no, there is no one inadvertently sitting on the remote control. The TV and the Remote are in a room we rarely use. It came on in middle of the night one night and frightened us. I exchanged it for a new identical model and it has started doing it again. 5 times today. I called Samsung customer service and was told this was a common problem and they needed to gain remote access to my TV. We are contemplating just getting another brand. The picture quality is fine. The sound quality is poor in my opinion.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q60A TV. I am sorry to hear that your TV is turning on by itself.
Sometimes connected Smart devices send abnormal "power on" signals through the wireless network that triggers the TV to turn itself on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
If you have a device connected to your TV via HDMI, this could also cause the auto-on, as Anynet+ is enabled. Occasionally, connected devices such as game consoles or cable boxes can send turn on signals, for example, if they have software updates.
We recommend you try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on.
Go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+, then disable.
Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
If the TV continues to turn on by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

Color in faces changes from screen to screen watching same show. I selected this TV from store for its brightness and distinctness on each and every changing screen. This is not what I got. My 12 yr old Samsung had better picture. Always very clear and distinct picture. Color in faces did not change from screen to screen. Only purchased new because the voice box began to crack/scratch. Does this mean that the TV is defective????? Was going to come into store to discuss.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q60A TV and for sharing details of your image quality. To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1807.2 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
In addition to the several picture modes on your TV, you may also want to try adjusting additional picture settings if the picture you are seeing is not to your liking.
You can go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), Picture Clarity Settings, Local Dimming, Contrast Enhancer, and many more.
